Excellent value for the money - and then some!
Pros:

I spent one night when I was in town for a wedding. I didn't have high expectations and the property pleasantly surprised me. Very clean. The bedroom/bed were fine. The bathroom was a bit small and nothing fancy but also fine. As others have noted, an excellent breakfast - LOTS of choices and surprisingly GOOD coffee. I also took a dip in the pool, which was a nice addition to the mix. The staff was uniformly pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

There was nothing that bothered me - as noted the bathroom is kind of spartan but totally adequate.

Cheesy parking bill slide under the door and never mentioned upon check- in. I had used UBER!!!!

Room size, TV channel selection

Cons:

No TV guide screen to see what was playing on any channel. No freezer frig combo, just frig. Info on all programs empty.
So when you're checking in, nobody says a word about a parking fee, nobody asks what vehicle you're driving or your vehicle registration number or even offers to give you a parking pass it simply is not even brought up at all. There are no signs indicating that one would have to pay nightly parking fee either. Then in the morning of checkout, someone slides a bill for $20 a night parking under your door..
The scene is rather cowardly and backstabbing way to charge for parking. If you're gonna charge for parking, say so up front acknowledge the person's registration number and give them a parking pass. As it turns out, I used Uber to get to the hotel. I didn't even have a vehicle and my Uber was waiting for me when I went to leave the room and noticed the piece of paper on the ground by the door indicating a $20 a night parking fee.
I immediately went to the front desk and the person there basically shrugged their shoulders and said, that's just the way we do it. I said, I used Uber, why are you charging me for parking? Furthermore, had I have driven my own vehicles, I would have expected someone to say it up front and to issue me a parking pass I was late for my flight and had to leave so I fought no longer with this person. But it simply is not fair, it's rather chicken s*** and backstabbing and very unprofessional. I think as many hotels do, their pricing includes parking. TO charge additional parking, especially when you don't even know how many vehicles a person has be, it 0 or 5 is ridiculous, and insulting. Cowards, back stabbing corruption!

Disappointing. Not by the beach.
Pros:

Disappointing. Not as advertised. Not well maintained.
The check-in man was pleasant, and tried to be friendly because it was over an hour that we needed to wait in the lobby to get a room. We had a reservation but that didn’t seem to matter as to check in time.
The breakfast area is tiny and usually crowded.
The fitness center had broken equipment.

Arrived early, about 30 minutes before check-in at 2. Went to the front desk to see if there was a room available. Was told there will be one available at 3. That time came around and we went to the front desk again. We were told that it was going to be 15 minutes until one was available. Okay, so we sat and waited. Another employee 10 minutes later told us it is going to be an hour till a room is available. So we sat there waiting and watched 4 other parties, coming in after 3 getting rooms.
