Cons:

Arrived early, about 30 minutes before check-in at 2. Went to the front desk to see if there was a room available. Was told there will be one available at 3. That time came around and we went to the front desk again. We were told that it was going to be 15 minutes until one was available. Okay, so we sat and waited. Another employee 10 minutes later told us it is going to be an hour till a room is available. So we sat there waiting and watched 4 other parties, coming in after 3 getting rooms.

A clean, basic stay near the beach
Pros:

Stayed here in May for a wedding, and it was what I expected from a Holiday Inn Express without much on top. The room was dark and dated, clean enough but nothing I'd write home about. The balcony opened up to nothing much to look at. Parking was easy and the staff did the job without a lot of energy one way or the other. I booked well ahead so the rate was decent, though it looked pricey for those dates otherwise. The location is good and the room was clean, so if you go in expecting a basic place to sleep near the beach, that's what you get. No real complaints, just not a stay that leaves an impression.

While the property is ok I was disapointed that there was no coffee machine in room. And while the room had a nice outdoor patio that I could sit on and have a morning coffee,,that is if they had coffee in room, there was no patio furniture.
