Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rochester, MN

If you want to stay at one of the WORST hotels in MN, book your stay at this place! If you want to sleep in a crusty bed, take a shower in a disgusting science experiment, and then be treated like crap when you check in and check out, again book your stay here!! Above and beyond one of the absolute worst hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have traveled quite a bit within the State of MN.

Easy registration. The room is clean, quiet, and comfortable! I wasn’t hungry but breakfast smelled great.

Booked here to use a pool. Got there and pool was drained.

I found the room to be clean although there was a napkin dropped by a previous guest that I found behind the bedside table. I find this in many hotel rooms that I rent. Housekeeping does not seem to check behind furniture for cleanliness.
There was a spill and a sticky floor in the elevator but this was cleaned up the next morning. It was Sunday so I was impressed.

Last minute decision for us to stay and I booked the room same day couldn’t ask for better service. Room was ready and perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was ready by 6am! Convenient commute to Mayo Clinic.

Could use a little TLC in the room (caulking around the toilet and around the overflow/faucet in tub) but otherwise the room was very nice. Breakfast was actually better than a lot of places. Not only were there waffles and pastries, but also scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and sausage links.

I didn't appreciate it when one of the staff came into the breakfast room at 9:40 a.m. and told us we needed to leave.

We didn’t get to stay the hotel was booked!!!’ Do not charge me . Rochester is known for its hospitals, my daughter very ill. We were released from hospital at 3:00 am went to hotel completely beat & not room. I tried to cancel reservation they said I couldn’t it was past the date. Return my money !!!

I will never stay in this hotel again it is rundown and in poor condition please take off you sire

I have stayed at this location several times when in the area. It is conveniently located for shopping, dining, and the hospital. It has always been clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I stay there whenever I have to go to Rochester. The staff are very friendly and willing to accomodate my needs.

The rooms are comfortable and the staff is so friendly.

It’s not fancy, but they have beds, hot water, hot breakfast and it’s cheap to stay.

The pool has no water. The deferred maintenance in evident, the breakfast is blah, this is not the Country Inn & Suites I used to stay in. I will not stay there any longer.

When my key wouldn’t work the workers were attentive to the problem.

Pool was still closed down. No coffee makers in the room. No hand towels in the bathroom. Toilet was dirty. No comforter on the bed. No Staff around. This place should not be under the name of Country Inn & Suites. We have always stayed at them & now I will never stay at one. It is a Hole in the wall to say the least. Giving the company a bad name!!!

Pool has been closed since june 25 (its now August and our kiddo was very disappointed), toilet ran all night, beds are old and saggy. Ive stayed at country in and suites before and had higher expectations. Won't stay at again.

Hotel in desperate need of new flooring throughout halls, rooms, lobby, stairs. The room has a detector on the ceiling with a bright green LED light that illuminates the room. I brought a sleep mask or this would have made it very hard to sleep. At check in, the desk attendant had me repeat all of my personal information including address and phone number despite asking for my ID and credit card. It was very strange with the desk being so close to the lobby sitting area where other guests were present. Overall stay was ok. Likely would choose another hotel close by for same price.
