Stephany M was incredibly helpful during our check‑in. She answered all of our questions with patience and clarity, and even shared great recommendations about the area. Her warm and welcoming attitude made our arrival experience exceptional. Thank you!
This hotel and the mangement are awful. The hotel reeks of smoke, old wet carpet and mildew. The management, particularly the “Rooms Manager”, Vlad Akselrud, are rude and unprofessional. The General Manager Jeff Burg is dismissive and disinterested in resolving guest’s concerns. I will never stay at this hotel again. The Westin, Pendry and Comfort Inn are all much better options.
No swimming pool or parking available
Location
Comfort, location and cleanliness
Overpriced like the rest of California. Free wifi should be standard. Even the smallest hotels in Japan, at a quarter of the price offered free wifi.
Excellent location in downtown, we go by walking everywhere.
The parking is so expensive, but In front of the hotel there’s a public parking that cost 20 dlls per day , instead of 70 dlls in the hotel
Due to the TSA/Government shutdown I missed my flight to San Diego. I took the first flight out the next day, arriving at the hotel at 7:45AM. When I checked in, I was told my room had been resold and was not available. Thinking they hadn’t charged me, I went to the club and proceeded to wait to check in to the room for the next day. I then noticed they had charged me for the room the night before. When I told the front desk manager that they needed either refund the charge or allow me to check in, she said they would let me know when my room for the next day was available (around 4PM). I asked to speak with a manager. Several hours later, I spoke with Vlad Akselrud the rooms manager. Not only was Mr Akselrud extremely rude in telling me that he could reverse the charge, but he was choosing not to, but he had the audacity to threaten to have me removed from the property and he said he could have me arrested. Unbelievable. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and I’m considering legal action against this joke of a hotel and against Mr Akselrud. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Courtyard, instead!
Area and space
Perfect location for the padres Petco Park
Rooms are a bit dated and $70.00 a day to park is ridiculous
The food was great!
The service at breakfast was not stellar at all. Didn’t bring all our drinks. When the drinks came the water was water down apple juice. It was crazy.
Location and staff are great, clean room. The only negatives, the property feels a little dated and we had no refrigerator in our room. SIdenote, was cool to get a glimpse of Petco field from our room, as well the bar lounge both downstairs and roof were good! Shout out to Manish in the downstairs lounge bar, thanks for the great service!
rooms felt dated and we had no refrigerator $68 for parking kind of sucks
The location and staff
