Great place to stay if you’re only using it to sleep at. Amenities are not well taken care of.
Pros:

The room had everything we needed. Traveling with 2 little kids, the mini fridge was great!

Cons:

The stairs in the pool cut both of my kids feet with sharp edges. Majority were of cardio equipment in the gym was broken

Nice overnight with friendly employees.
Pros:

Breakfast was average. It had the reconstituted reg and sw scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels, juices.

Cons:

The floor felt dirty. When walking barefoot, it felt like grit was sticking to my feet.

Pros:

Not satisfied at all. Very disappointed

Cons:

We left our phone and kept calling to get it sent to us well the assistant manager called me and wanted my card number over the phone. I wanted a price first and tracking number and she just hung up on me. I do not understand why. Besides trying to get my information.

Convenient location, but cleanliness and the overall guest experience left room for improvement.
Pros:

The location was convenient to the areas we planned to explore, and we were able to secure a room with minimal hassle despite booking on short notice. We especially appreciated having a place to get away from the wildfire smoke after a long day on the trails. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping while being just far enough from the busiest parts of town to avoid the heavier traffic.

Cons:

The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom. After dropping a clean towel on the floor, it became obvious the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, especially around the corners and edges, and we ended up wearing shoes or sandals in the room for the remainder of our stay. We were also surprised by the additional charge for the only available pet-friendly room despite not traveling with a pet, and the check-in experience could have been more welcoming.

Pretty expensive for a scrappy old motel.
Pros:

The pool was sufficient for the kids

Cons:

The bed was wore out and slumped on the middle. The fitted sheet popped off every time I rolled over. The doors slammed shut every time someone in the motel either entered or exited their room. The entire motel smelled like dirty mold.

Pros:

Clean place, beds comfortable, plenty of pillows. Shower was hot and had nice water pressure. Standard continental breakfast. Never used the pool but it looked clean.

Cons:

One of the 3 mornings the breakfast was not well looked after and alot of the food had run out. Felt it was a bit spendy for the services, no hot tub even though there was plenty of room for one in pool room. Breakfast was very basic for the price. Nothen really stood out. Have stayed at nicer places for close to half the price.

Pleasant stay in Montrose, close to amenities and Black Canyon
Pros:

This hotel was in an excellent location and provided everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, even with our late arrival, the room was excellent - clean and spacious for two of us. And breakfast was great. The hotel was a bit more expensive than others in the area, but also justified for the quality.

Cons:

I wish I didn't get a flat tire on my drive to Montrose, but that's not the hotel's responsibility! they did advise us where to go get it fixed.
