A welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, a good place to rest on a busy trip.
Pros:

When staying with the included breakfast, the dining experience was elevated compared to other hotel chains. Where other chains feel more like a mall cafeteria where there is a rushed feeling to the dining experience, the Pomeroy has a proper dining room. The food is also better quality. We were able to enjoy our breakfast as a family.

We also liked how central the hotel location was. We had to be west of Grand Prairie and North of Grand Prairie. The location was ideal for this. Easy access to shopping and other restaurants was very convenient.

The pool area was nice, not elaborate but was ok for the short amount of time we had to swim.

The staff were exceptional. Not only friendly, but very competent and fast. They answered our questions and provided help and services professionally. Top notch!

Cons:

We had minor issue with the room with burnt out lightbulbs. The maintenance team did a great job of fixing the problem while we were out during the day.

The hot tub was cooler than ideal.
The exterior setting and parking lot seem a bit run down.

Noise both night and the second night kids on 4 th floor running around slamming doors etc , also someone drunk on 3rd floor yelling banging to find their room. I call the office no answering service and no one answered the phone

Cons:

We stayed there for four days and they only cleaned our room once. We asked for more towels and only had one person working the late night at the front desk , there was no laundry room or bath mats or grab bar in the showers.

The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The fire alarms went off at 3am and then a few minutes later as well. The window of my room was also leaking and dripping kept me up all night after the fire alarm.

Can't trust the booking even though it was made 10 months before my stay.
Cons:

I ended up cancelling my reservation because I booked in November for my August stay. The hotel then changed the room I booked twice, the first time in March and then just a few weeks before I was scheduled to arrive, ultimately charging me almost $100 more than what i thought I had locked in by booking early!!! I think this in inexcusable and how can I trust this business!!
