Stanza grande, parcheggio incluso, ottimo ristorante
Most high-quality hotels serve a complementary breakfast we were disappointed because for the price we paid and breakfast was extra. We also had to pay for parking.
Very clean and great service
Very well maintained property. No trash laying around outside. Felt our vehicles were secure due to staff posted outside keeping watch over the property and the coming and going of people. Felt secure in our rooms due to room keys required to operate elevators. The food at The Nines restaurant was really good. Huge burgers! Very tasty breakfast. Shoutout to Steven (front desk) Carlos (bag transport) and room service/restaurant staff for excellent customer service.
The only complaint we have is that our two disabled ADA rooms did not have roll in showers as pictured in room views online and as requested. I had a verbal conversation with a hotel staff member about 2-3 weeks prior to the stay that we had an absolute need for at least one of the rooms to be roll in. We made due with a shower chair provided on Saturday morning at our request, but using a shower chair/tub entry situation on an 87 year old with dementia is not the best. Definitely could have been better.
Customer service was excellent
The location was excellent, staff was very responsive and caring.
The shower pressure felt off.
Location, 5-10 min drive to the places we needed to go to. Restaurant was also convenient. Hotel and restaurant staff was all really nice and friendly.
Comfortable, clean, quiet.
I woke up at 7:00 in the morning when a delivery truck notified us that it was backing up a beep, beep, beep. This occurred again a half hour later.
The Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center is in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. It is a full-service Bakersfield convention center hotel connected to the Rabobank Arena, Theatre & Convention Center.
There are a ton of meeting room for conferences. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but is is very nice and the staff is the best. They have your room ready on time and when they can they will give you a late check out.
The rooms are sound proof which is nice because it is connected to a concert venue. There are also a lot of conventions there.
The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. They are a nice size and we loved our bathroom. We had a sofa and a desk and all we needed was there.
They also have an eatery which is really good. We loved the pool and the fitness room.
What really stood out for us was the maid service, the rooms were spotless and the front desk staff who know everything about, well, everything Bakersfield. You can't go wrong here.
The hotel is conveniently located next to the Dignity Health Center, just a quick three minute walk away, which made it an excellent choice for attending events. The nine story property has an old-school lounge that offers full dinner and breakfast options, an honor bar, cold drinks, and even a computer for guest use.
Check-in was fast and efficient, although the front desk experience was slightly mixed with the young female member came across as a bit curt. The rooms were adequate for a short stay, though the furniture felt dated and could use an upgrade.
Parking is available for $10, with a small lot in front and a much larger lot in the back that easily accommodated the 8 Jouney tour buses. After the concert, I appreciated that hotel staff checked room keys at the entrance, which helped maintain security and keep non-guests out. One unexpected highlight was briefly seeing Arnel Pineda outside the back of the hotel with his family. He initially seemed a bit reserved but was polite, calm, and very attentive.
