Uncomfortable bed and pillows, dirty.

Cons:

Bed and pillows were sunk in. Room wasn’t very clean, desk sticky and visibly dirty. Table by chair had crumbs on it, there was big blob of black hair in the shower. Very sketchy area which I didn’t know that till after I had checked in. Felt unsafe in the parking lot due to people hanging out. Next day at a sporting event for my grand child I meet several local people that advised me to not stay in that area as it was was not safe. Booked thru Booking.com forfeited 2nd night prepaid stay and went some where else. Would not recommend.

Perfect home base for our stay in Portland, very comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff and a great breakfast!

Nice room, excellent service
Pros:

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights in June while visiting the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood. The room was very comfortable and pretty quiet; the only thing I didn't like was that there was a bit of a gap under the door so the light from the hallway came in. Breakfast was free and good. The lady working the front desk (can't remember her name, but she has 4 kids) was VERY helpful and friendly, and gave us advice on how to park at Multnomah falls without having to make a timed-entry reservation on Recreation.gov. The hotel was easy to get to and far enough away from Portland that traffic wasn't too bad going/coming. It was nice to have a guest laundry, too.
