The jackhammering noise from Council water infrastructure work. Started around midnight and went for hours. Not the hotel's fault but feel this should have been communicated prior to staying, with the opportunity to cancel at no penalty.

The hotel looks beautiful and is located in the center of Brisbane, within walking distance of many important places.

Cons:

Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations for a five-star hotel.
The room was not very clean. The large curtains were hanging loosely and when I touched them, a lot of dust came out. The toiletries were provided in very small tubes, which were not even enough for a single use. This solution is also not very eco-friendly, as it creates a lot of plastic waste. In most hotels around the world, larger refillable dispensers are used instead.
The room itself felt old and somewhat dirty, and the drain in the bathtub was rusty. Considering the very high price, I would not choose this accommodation again.

Great staff and old charm hotel.
Pros:

Great breakfast and the room was very nice.

Cons:

I wish there were some rewards for couples like us, we have only stayed at the treasury the the past 12- 14 years. We have around 160 nights stays. No recognition is a sad statement. Yes I understand it’s for sale but I have stayed there for many years.
