Kind of dingy, run down, not nice looking. Mattress was not comfortable.
Not much. Average. Far too expensive for the facilities
1. We had booked our room as a pet friendly facility. After check in when we reached our allotted room with our pet cat, front desk called to ask if we had a cat in the room. On our confirmation we were told that as per their policy cats were not allowed in the facility. If we were to continue we would have to pay a penalty of $100. When I insisted that their facility was advertised as pet friendly, they said YES it was DOG friendly only and not cat friendly. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told the manager was not available. Fortunately I had consulted the FAQs before booking which specifically answered a query about cats as allowed on the premises. I had to dig out the same and went down to show to the front desk staff who responded by saying that these FAQs were many years old and current policy did not allow cats. However since I. Old show them the specific FAQ so they would make a one time exception to their policy and allow my pet to stay with $25 surcharge. The mere fact that I had to undergo intense mental stress for the time period until I could prove my point I should have resorted to legal recourse to get compensation for unnecessary mental agony but decided against it after cooling down. However I still feel that the management of Days Inn tried to take advantage of me by slapping an unfair rule knowing fully well that I could not find an alternate accommodation at this last minute so they could pull the gouging trick on me and get away with it.
2. We had requested a ground floor room due to my senior status and difficulty to climb stairs how ever we were allotted a room on the third floor with the most tortuous route.

I liked the bed and pillows. It smelled nice.
The coffee pot made Luke warm coffee. The dead bolt wasn't working. The floor felt dirty. No wash clothes.
The staff were great and very accommodating. Room was big. Bed was reasonably comfortable but squeaky.
It had a kitchenette with basic implements so you could cook
It was a little bit dated. The area felt unsafe. I didn't feel like walking anywhere alone
We had a corner room and it was roomy and comfortable.
