The beds were comfortable, room quiet at night.
Had to check in twice as our travel plans changed, before we left home and I booked an additional night. When I checked in at the front desk on the first night,I checked in for all the nights I had previously booked for but upon returning the first day the room was locked and I had to check in again at the front desk. Also upon check in, both times, no one at the front desk stated that if we wanted our rooms cleaned that we were to notify the front desk. We were expecting a linen change at least on the second day.
The place is clean and the staff allowed us to check in early.Room was easy access from parking too.
If you're room is beside stairs, it is noisy. The hotel should place a sign not to run in the stairs because you can really hear the footsteps from third floor to ground floor. It made us very uncomfortable because it woke us up in the night or any time. And its difficult to reach the reception. I called the other location to ask for a number where I can reach this location easier, but the receptionist who answered was very rude.He was yelling at me.
Comfortable, newly renovated, very clean
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room has kitchen and that was a huge bonus since we stayed for 5 days. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was perfect. Location was great, closer to the park and downtown.
The Hotel is a bit older and the room feels outdated, which explain the stale smell when we first walked in. Some kitchenware was missing. The wooden flooring didn't quite stand out, as it looked more recently mopped than properly polished, so it didn't have the warm, finished feel we were expecting.
Room was clean well equipped comfortable and quiet except for the heater/AC
Quieter air conditioner and bath tub taps that could be turned on. Too tight.
This was one of the better price points for near downtown. The rooms are large with a full fridge and stove. Evening was relatively quiet although I visited during the off season. The front desk held my luggage before and after my stay. Regulars seemed to frequent the internal bar where the bartenders were kind and accommodating. The music ends early which is conducive to a good night's sleep. Parts of the room were newly renovated. A staff member helped carry up my luggage and another checked to see if my room was ready while I ate in the bar.
Oddly, everyday, there was a new pending charge $$ hold on my credit card. This had me concerned since I had never had this experience at other accommodations. I suddenly had to keep track to make certain the hold would drop. There were many different stairwells to access all areas of the motel making it challenging to carry luggage as it was a distance from the office to the room. The main reason I booked was because there was a pool but once I checked in I was told it was closed. There was construction at the trestle bridge so no easy way to walk downtown. I did ask twice for a late checkout but was never acknowledged.
The staff, very friendly , helpful and accommodating. The live music at loft Pub, listening to the band while having dinner and the breakfast was good
The water in the swimming pool is too cold for our senior. We're about to swim last night but when we tried to dip into the water we can't take it and no hot tub. We wish though there's a complimentary breakfast!
Everything was pretty good except I didnt like that the housekeeping kept.knocking started around 10 and my mom was in there trying to rest before our ling trip home and the house keeping knocking kept her awake. If checknout is 11 am there us no reason at all for housekeeping to be knocking before 11am I paid to 11 I am gonna stay til 11

Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Bathroom facilities are old; for example, water traps in the tub during the shower.
TV had just some boring channels, no platform available. A bit pricy for what you get.
Cozy
1 front desk clerk was going to charge extra night if I wasn’t out at 12 after asking for late checkout due to COPD and a wheel chair
Spot silverfishes on mattress and bathroom. The alarm went off in my room and the adjacent room at 6am which is very disturbing and difficult to shut off (the other alarm rang like 30 min). Very disappointing experience!
