Das Gut Moschenhof wirbt an der Hauptstraße mit einem Schild: „Gut Moschenhof – Restaurant und Hotel“. Da ich häufig in Düsseldorf bin, bin ich schon öfter an diesem Schild vorbeigefahren. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt in Düsseldorf entschied ich mich bewusst dafür, dort zu übernachten, da das Schild sehr ansprechend wirkte. Ich freute mich darauf, nach einem langen Arbeitstag noch schön zu essen und etwas zu trinken.
Als ich mittags ankam, war jedoch niemand vor Ort, und es gab keinen Hinweis darauf, wie ich vorgehen sollte. Nachdem ich versucht hatte, telefonisch eine Mitarbeiterin zu erreichen, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der Schlüssel im Briefkasten sei – die Nachricht hätte ich „ja wohl nicht gelesen“. Da ich den ganzen Tag in Kundengesprächen war, hatte ich natürlich keine Nachricht gesehen. Ich hätte mir hier eine frühere Information gewünscht, insbesondere, da ich bereits einen Tag vorher die Buchungsbestätigung erhalten hatte. Diese enthielt jedoch keine Hinweise darauf, dass der Schlüssel im Briefkasten liegt oder dass für den Zugang ein Code notwendig ist. Außerdem wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt, dass es sich nicht um ein „klassisches“ Restaurant handelt, sondern um ein Haus ohne anwesendes Personal.
Am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück fiel mir außerdem auf, dass der Raum sehr kalt war. Auf Nachfrage meinte eine Mitarbeiterin, sie habe die Heizung gerade erst aufgedreht, da es sich „nicht lohne“, wenn niemand im Raum sei. Auch das empfand ich als wenig kundenorientiert. Ich möchte morgens in einem warmen Raum frühstücken und nicht bereits beim Frühstück frieren.
Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt leider von diesen organisatorischen Mängeln geprägt, die den positiven ersten Eindruck durch das Schild deutlich getrübt haben.

Spacious room with bath tub. Good breakfast. In middle of nowhere but not far from Düsseldorf. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The bathtub should have some grip to prevent ppl from falling when stepping in or out.
