Overall, a good stay. Neighborhood is a bit marginal for what seems safe. If the were closer to the shores and Sandusky attractions, would be better. Breakfast is very plain, brown and serve sausage and bland eggs. For the price, I'd say they are delivering what you pay for.

Our room had a very unpleasant odor to it. The bathroom had mold in it. We requested another room and it was better. But the overall smelled like a dirty mop.

Great hotel and what i wiuld hope for with the pricw point. It was very clean, a bit dated but that doesn't bother me.
Good pool area and a decent breakfast, exactly what I would expect at this price point. I would definitely stay again.

Pros:

My family and I stayed for 2 nights for a quick trip to Cedar Point. This hotel is perfectly fine for a couple of nights. It was clean and there was plenty of parking. The staff was nice as well.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was on par for this level hotel. It was very good for the price paid for a family overnight stay after cedar point.

Clean and quiet. Loved the vinyl flooring without rugs. Mattress was a bit soft, but comfortable. No pet fee: now that's "pet friendly". 😉

Red Roof Inn was great, booking website was not

My family's stay at a red Roof Inn was FANTASTIC! The staff were very helpful and polite! They even helped fix the mess up that hot els . com caused by canceling my reservation without notifying me! Luckily staff in the Red Roof Inn was very understanding and helped my family fix things!
