Wunderbares Stadthotel mit viel Komfort
Pros:

Die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof ist für einen Städtetrip super-ideal. Mit der S-Bahn ist man in 25 Minuten direkt am Flughafen und es fahren auch etliche Busse und U-Bahnen von dort ab.
Das Hotel selbst ist ein wunderbares gediegenes Stadthotel mit allem was man braucht. Hervorheben möchte ich die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Frühstücksbuffet mit eigenem Omlett- und Spiegeleier-Koch bietet wirklich alles was man sich nur wünschen kann.

Tolles Hotel für den kurzen Stadturlaub in Hamburg
Pros:

Sehr angenehmes Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage direkt am Hbf.
Sehr schöne Innenarchitektur im Art-Deco-Stil.
Gutes umfangreiches Frühstück

Cons:

Der Preis ist schon recht hoch.
Das Abendessen im Restaurant ist allenfalls durchschnittlich.

Location excellent.

Cons:

Room assigned did not match what I booked in terms of size or bed arrangement.
Room key didnt work, caused extra trips to and from reception with luggage in tow.

Once in (very small) room and discovered separated twin beds rather than large double I paid for, I called down to reception. Phone was ignored, necessitating another trip downstairs to find staff standing around chatting with no other guest business happening.

Told all rooms like this...clearly not the case.... and that Booking.com frequently mis-sell rooms. That hasn't been my experience in over 10 years of bookings.

Man on reception refused to change the room and did not apologise. He grudgingly came and pushed the beds together and I had to help him rearrange the sheets etc myself to stop the beds separating....

No room service at all in this hotel apparently.

Most staff generally surly and uncharming, in bar and at breakfast.

Wait times in bar for food overly long. I paid 20 euros for a half cooked toasted cheese sandwich and lukewarm coffee on arrival as no room service. I waited 20 minutes for a coffee in the morning before needing to leave and then gave up.

Basic coffee facilities in the room and one cup filthy with last guest's coffee dried up in it, so not washed.

Bathroom fine. Bed comfortable once it had been reconfigured.

Only friendly staff were the man storing luggage and one woman on reception in the morning, rest I found surly and unwelcoming.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Hamburg-Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Hauptbahnhof ist optimal, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist.
Wir haben den Retro-Charme des Hotels geliebt...man fühlt sich teilweise wie in einem alten Film. Schön, dass man bei der Restaurierung das historische Erbe erhalten hat.
Das Personal war durchweg super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Beim Frühstück konnte man alles finden, was das Herz begehrt...von vielen verschiedenen Brot- und Brötchensorten, über Wurst, Käse, süße und herzhafte Brotaufstriche, Obst, Gemüse bis hin zur Live-Cooking-Station...auch an Vegetarier/Veganer wird gedacht. Kaffee, Tee, Wasser, Saft...alles da.

Cons:

Die dunklen Möbel in den Zimmern sind sicher Geschmackssache, aber was uns gestört hat, war der Teppich...der sah schon etwas abgewohnt und nicht wirklich sauber aus.

Hyggelig og venlig betjening i baren

Cons:

værelses beliggenhed.Blev vækket kl 6.30 af renovationsvæsenet. Vindue på værelset kunne ikke lukke tæt. Gummiliste var defekt. Følte lidt at værelset var en skoæske. Vil en anden gang anmode om et andet værelse, der vender ind mod gård.

Für meinen Kurzurlaub war das Hotel perfekt geeignet!
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt nahe dem HBF und verschiedenen Kultur-Highlights! Das Hotel hat einen besonderen Charme wegen der Architektur und der Einrichtung!
