Pros:

Stunning views over the Rhine, coffee machine, mini fridge, lovely shower, extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Curtains made the room pitch black so perfect for sleep. Pool access with robes and slippers in our room, this was the perfect final night in the Rhineland.

Verbesserungswürdiger Service

Unser Zimmer entsprach den Erwartungen, es war sauber und ruhig. Der Blick auf den Rhein war großartig. Uns gefiel auch die Möglichkeit, das Auto in der Tiefgarage zu parken, die einen Zugang zum Hotel hat.

Cons:

Unsere Kritik betrifft hauptsächlich den Service im Restaurant/ Frühstücksraum:
Wir hatten einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert, mit der Möglichkeit, auch auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Dies wollten wir auch tun, doch angesichts der Temperaturen draußen wollten wir lieber nach drinnen wechseln. Dies schien für das Personal auf der Terrasse kein Problem darzustellen, allerdings sehr wohl für den Restaurantleiter. Er behandelte uns von oben herab und meinte, er müsse erst schauen, ob noch ein Tisch frei wäre. Gütigerweise fand er dann auch einen Platz für uns. Es blieben übrigens eine Reihe von Tischen während unserer gesamten Anwesenheit im Lokal frei.

Am nächsten Morgen saßen wir dann tatsächlich zum Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Allerdings mussten wir über Scherben am Boden steigen, die auch nicht beseitigt wurden. Neben uns wurde fleißig Staub gewischt und die Blumen auf der Terrasse gegossen. Das sind sicher notwendige Arbeiten, vielleicht aber zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt, wenn keine Gäste daneben essen.
