Ants in our room. Trash cans didn't have liners in them. Which probably contributed to the ant problem.

Pros:

It was very difficult to find the parking lot. Other than that, everything was great.

There needs to be some kind of signage to find the parking lot easier! PLEASE!

Pros:

As a full-time truck driver, I usually love staying at Fairfield Inn & Suites properties—they're consistent, have what I need for multi-night stops (good parking, solid breakfast, clean rooms, and reliable basics), and this Lafayette location has been convenient for me several times.
I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2026, and the on-site washing machine was out of order the whole time—OUT of ORDER SIGN posted. Now I'm back in February 2026, and it's still broken a month later. For drivers like me who rely on guest laundry during longer hauls (especially when staying multiple nights), this is a real inconvenience. Fixing something as basic as the washer should be a higher priority—it's advertised as an amenity, and it's been unreliable for at least two months across my visits.
Other than that, the staff is friendly, check-in is quick, breakfast is decent (hot items, waffles, etc.), rooms are clean enough, and the location works well off the interstate. I'd give it higher marks if the laundry was functional, as that's a key reason I choose Fairfields over other spots. Now I may need to reconsider.

Pleasant but not amazing

The location was good from the event we attended

Cons:

We were on the first floor and could here footsteps in the room above us.
The queen bed was maybe a double.. it seemed small. The room was smaller than other hotels we've stayed at

Close to shopping and restaurant’s

Cons:

Phone didn’t work in our room and we had two rooms one for granddaughters and one for grandson so it made it made it kind of inconvenient to be able to call them in the next room if needed
