Location
No elevator
The downstairs section of the building was great. Nice style and greta location.
The bathroom was very average. The basin was cracked and the bathroom tiles were not in good condition. Overall the standard of the bathroom was below what I expected.
The Rocks area
All good
Absolutely loved everything from staff to rooms to decor of the hotel was amazing. The location 10/10 - breakfast 10/10
We stayed 2 nights and loved it .

Location
Nothing
Noisy, dirty, expensive
The staff were friendly and the location was good.
The room was supposed to be 4 star. Ours was below street level with no view at all. It stunk of mold to the point where it was unbearable to stay. The windows were screwed shut and the air conditioning made a horendous noise. We would not have been able to stay in this room for a night. We left and checked in somewhere else.
The location was great with easy access to the Rocks and Circular Quay. The staff were exceptional.
The shower had substantial mould on the framework. One bedside light didn’t work, and the roller on the privacy blind didn’t work. The airconditioning was very loud. I do r think it was very good value for money.
Centrally located very clean and lovey food.
Staff were so helpful
Nothing
Great location lovely building
The air con was really noisy and not cold enough ( old unit )
Although there was not much of a view from the window, the location of the hotel in The Rocks is excellent, being only 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay. The room was spacious and the ensuite had just been renovated, though I understand not all have been throughout the hotel just yet. The included breakfast choice was excellent. Very nice reception area with bar, lounge and library.
The air conditioning unit in our room was dated and needs replacing or repairing as it didn't work very well. Not ideal in summer when it's so hot and humid and there is little other means of ventilation for the room as the windows don't open. We were moved to another room because of this where the TV display was found to be damaged.
Nice premises, large rooms, great breakfast but still a low score
The reason
Is that there is no air refreshing or ventilation. The airco just cools the existing air. The hotel is a big CO2 tank. We had headache every morning
