The price, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the free hot breakfast, free rentals, short walk to everything including the beach, so many restaurants, ice cream shops, açaí bowls, etc. The option to use multiple pools of different hotels. Our pool area was cool. We loved our stay.
The elevators were extremely hot with no air flow. We took the stairs most of the time. And there was no bar at the pool.
The front desk staff & breakfast staff are fantastic! The pool area is very nice. The location is perfect for walking to the boardwalk and the Pier/beach.
The smell of weed. The drains in our sink & tub were clogged. The smell of weed. Blinds in our room didn't work properly. The smell of weed. The dresser drawers in our room were wedged shut, unable to use. The smell of weed. I've learned from previous stays to bring my own memory foam mattress bc the beds are uncomfortable. The smell of weed. The floors were filthy, had to mop them myself by hand. The smell of weed (strong) everywhere and we had to switch rooms bc the people in the next room were smoking so much weed that our room was unbearable. The mold is pretty bad there, too, it's everywhere...look under the bottles on the wall in the shower, under the lip of the sink, and all the toilet paper smells strongly of mold. I love this hotel, but I fear that it is being let go and a little run down. Others staying there said the same. Oh, and did I say "the smell of weed"?
I did get excited about the bacon! Biscuits and gravy, my favorite.
My wife didn't get her waffles. A long line and kids playing with the waffle irons.
-room floor full of sand - no proper cleaning, dirty marks on bedsheets they don’t seem clean/fresh, bathroom door stucks on floor while open/close and drag’s the bath mat every time, full of moisture on floor. Breakfast -Water in juice dispenser , smelly corridors, for the price paid this is not expected.

Breakfast was great. The staff were always very helpful and friendly - even after just a few days they knew our names (and our dog's name). The free kayaks and bikes were also very nice. Great location as well.
No complaints
Very close to amenities, the room was very good at reducing the noise of other rooms so you felt isolated in a good way. The free kayaking rental was awesome

Our specific room had some issues with bathroom door falling apart due to moisture, sink pipes separated and leaked everywhere but maintenance was in our room quickly to fix the leak

I liked the location, walk to everything, I liked having the option to use bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. Bikes were fun, the weather didn't allow for the others. The pool and fire pit area were good, Elizabet was great at breakfast, super friendly, and really kind. Kelly at the front desk was super friendly. The maintenance workers were prompt at coming to fix the sink and bring fresh linens for the beds.
While the common areas were clean and nice, the cleanliness of the room was sub-par, especially considering the price. The sink started leaking, quickly fixes. There was dirt on the walls, the linens were blood stained and stained from maybe drinks or something. The guest laundry took forever and the dryers still didnt dry my clothes after being in for almost 2 hrs. I ended taking them to the laundromat down the the street. (I did get some of the money spent back). While Elizabet was great, the breakfast was a let down.
