Location was the only good about it!
It was misleading on the booking site! The lady a the front desk was rude when we checked in. The tv didn’t work. You had to ask for towels every time you needed them which was crazy to me!
We loved the location, the private beach, the comfortable beds, and the staff that worked during the day, extremely friendly. We loved that even though the gulf side had double red flags up we were always able to enjoy the private beach without issue.
The hotel had obvious signs of aging/neglect. You sacrifice certain comforts when booking a place like this, but can absolutely make the most of it with a good attitude.
The breakfast was very generic and not always cooked the best or with consistency.
The late night staff were rude and made you feel as if you were inconveniencing them.
Pool is very small.
Awesome hotel, I stay here everytime I go to Pensacola. Great staff, good location
Nothing I can think of
Not sure who made the mistake on the booking but not happy
Booked ground floor because husband is disabled Changed my booking to above level. Booked two queen beds got one small double. I couldn’t sleep because my husband had to have the bed on his own due to disability. Not a good stay
The place could use a refresh.
Multiple holes in the door where locks have been replaced
Some guests were smoking pot around the pool
Lovely staff
Close to the beach
I was not able to get a receipt I booked thru booking.com because the rates were cheaper staff stated I had to get receipt from Booking.com, I use Booking .com all the time and this is the first Hotel that would not provide me a receipt.
The free paddle board, kayak rentals. Breakfast, staff.
There is no bathroom near the beach, the beds were very uncomfortable and the room was very small and not the cleanest on the walls, doors, and headboards. The toilet ran forever, and the walls were thin. We could hear neighbors slamming doors and talking all night.
Best part is location is close to everything. Easy walk to the beach, by a beautiful pier. Elizabet, who oversaw the breakfast, was absolutely delightful. Rooms were as expected in size, they seemed nicely updated and noticeably very clean. The beds were comfortable. Most of the reception desk workers were kind and friendly.
It's expensive for what you get, but during the high season, this is pretty normal.
Maybe adding some yogurt and other healthy breakfast options would be a good idea. But Elizabet's waffles were great. We had a great experience overall.
Excelent location
Small pool
The view, the proximity to everything.
I loved everything!
