The upgraded room that I didn't request and was charged but the charges were supposedly returned
Pros:

Staff was nice, location was very convenient

Cons:

I was very disappointed when I was told that I had been given an upgraded room that I hadn't requested but then told that I wouldn't be charged for it which I thought was great until I get to the room to discover that it couldn't have been an upgrade because it was very small and nothing in it seemed to be upgraded (I wonder what it would have look like if that was considered the upgrade)

Good location with friendly staff
Pros:

We spent 2 weeks at a San Antonio location about 20 miles outside of town, we then spent two days in San Antonio and really got the feel of the place. The Hampton Inn is clean, with comfortable rooms. We were able to walk just about everywhere.
