Great place for an overnight stop.
Pros:

Reception was friendly and quick. Room was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The refrigerator even had a freezer compartment to re-freeze the ice packs for our travel cooler. The bed was very comfy with a selection of pillows so each of us could choose one that was just right. Best of all, the breakfast was superb with a wide variety of breakfast food and beverages ranging from scrambled egg and sausage patties to fresh waffles and hot chocolate. We definitely plan to stay there again when we come through Birmingham.

The breakfast was superb with a wide variety of breakfast foods ranging from scrambled eggs and sausage patties to fresh waffles and hot chocolate.

Cons:

Not much not to like, but the room lighting could have been brighter.

Rooms need to be updated. Needed blow dryer, ours had been torn off wall. Front desk rather than tell us they obviously didn’t have one, kept telling us someone’s on the way. Never showed!!

Cons:

Requested a room cleaning due to multiple nights stay. Never received cleaning so sheets were dirty and towels and rags. Requested clean towels and rags. Called the front desk to request clean towels and rags. Lady answered mentioned we never received the cleaning so ok then asked for clean rags & towels, lady said ok we waited and waited no one knocked on door. Finally opened the door to see if there was an attendant on floor and there was, so I tried to ask for towels and rags but he didn’t speak English so tried to communicate but he was trying to say “ THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY CLEAN RAGS” called back to front desk cause she never called back and was trying to get a clear understanding of what the attendant was trying to say and then she says they didn’t have clean rags. A little while later a knock on door with clean rags & towels then she asked was I checking out or staying I said checking out. Shortly after we finished showering after having to wait for clean rags & towels a call to room from front desk asking were we still in room to our surprise you just gave clean towels and rags. So we finished up got dressed and get downstairs to check out and attendant starts yelling and raising her voice very loudly and Angrily “ DID YOU ALL HAVE THAT CART IN YOUR ROOM ALL NIGHT “ I told her we requested the cleaning figured they’d get it then but because they never came to clean room it was missed and we got in late and tired so we didn’t bother it. SO SHE STARTS SCREAMING AGAIN ABOUT KEEPING OUR DEPOSIT so I asked for a manager she said she wasn’t there and gave me a card.
