Bed was comfortable, location was good

Cons:

Breakfast, only instant oatmeal , not real eatmeal, which was awful, no paper plates, guests were having to use paper bowls, not good!

Tameika the assistant manager was AMAZING! she helped me a problem I experienced. she went above and beyond for me and for that I appreciate her. she was so sweet and patient.

I come to Longview once a month, sometimes twice on business. Needless to say I will scratch this place off. The room appeared clean at first glance, but taking a closer look it definitely needed some major work. Spider webs with a dead spider on the wall behind the door. The bathroom needs a good scrub down, the floor was disgusting, the grout was so dirty it was black. The toilet lid was very loose and don't understand why housekeeping wouldn't have reported that. The vent in the bathroom didn't work and it was nasty too. There was mold around it and on the ceiling. Again why wouldn't housekeeping report it, they're in the room everyday. The bathroom towels were folded but had hair that you could see as soon as you walked into the bathroom. Lastly, the tv was so small, it was ridiculous. Point is, I would definitely never return here and for it to be a part of Marriott is very disappointing

I would not stay at this location again due to the failure to address issues in a timely manner.
Pros:

The continental breakfast was acceptable, with a large variety. The pool and gym were convenient, but the pool was open only my first day there, which I had not used it then.

Cons:

After unpacking a few hours later I discovered that the vent in the bathroom did not work. The front desk said I could move to another room not on the 1st floor or they would have the maintenance man repair it the next day. I choose to wait rather than pack up and move. It turned out he could not repair it the next day and it remained broken the whole 2 days of the stay.

The indoor pool was closed due to the pump having a leak on the first night of the stay, which made it unavailable the remaining two days there.

Corporate policy likely prevented all of these repairs in a timely manner as the usual pool supply and home supply box stores were within a block of the Inn.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable with a noticeable sunken middle area. Well past the time for a replacement.
