Wonderful property and hosts, pool was well maintained, rooms were big and spacious.

Breakfast was good, they specially considered our request for a vegetarian breakfast.

Also helped us with safari booking at a reasonable price.

Our stay at Grand Yala Hotel was truly exceptional. The property is luxurious, beautifully maintained, and offers a very premium experience. The rooms were extremely spacious, featuring comfortable double beds and fully functional air conditioning. We also spent a wonderful time with our family at the swimming pool, which was very clean and well maintained.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a delicious spread of Sri Lankan cuisine that exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly supportive, friendly, and always ready to help. As we were visiting from India during the Holi festival, we requested if we could play a little color, and the team kindly agreed—it was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special.

Loved the calm of the place .. the room was fab & the staff could not do enough for you .. we only stopped 1 night to do safari but could easily have stopped longer .. tranquil setting & the staff were fabulous.. they packed us breakfast for safari & brought us coffee at 0430 !! . 10/10 for everything .. highly recommend .. thank you to you all at Grand Yala .. you were great x

Great place to stay and kids all loved the pool. Went on a Yala safari tour on our stay & they had our breakfast packed and ready for us. Great staff and delicious food.

Personál byl velmi vstřícný, ubytování na místní poměry velmi čisté a dobře vybavené. Jídlo je zde trochu dražší, ale výborné. Zaplatili jsme si safary, které bylo úžasné na cestu jsme dostali snídaňový balíček. Doporučuji.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, accommodating people

The pool was excellent, and the room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the triple room and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was perfect.
The staff were so lovely, and even took us to the kitchen to show us the deer that comes in the morning ever day to collect some breakfast.

Great base from which we did a Yala safari which was booked through the hotel and which was exceptional.
The room was clean comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of hot water.
We only ate breakfast (which was excellent )at the property during our stay so can't comment on other meals.
We did a couple of walks around the locality and into Tiss via the back roads, flat, easy and excellent way to see local life in the raw.
The staff were excellent and so friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel! Breakfast and dinner options are great and the food was delicious.

The hotel is very well placed to reach Yala national park for early safaris, and walking distance to the nearby lakes to catch the sunset and wander around.

Great room, reasonably priced. They prepared a nice breakfast for us to take on the safari. The staff were lovely and organised a birthday cake for my boyfriend’s birthday which was very thoughtful. We ate here both nights for ease with the safari and the food was lovely, I would reccomend the rice and curry!

This hotel is a gem. It's a quiet paradise with the most comfortable rooms we have had on Sri Lanka. Lovely restaurant on site and a pool which sadly we didn't have time to use. Staff so friendly and organised a private safari for us and an onward taxi

Le personnel était au petit soin pour nous, la nourriture excellente. Les chambres sont simple mais nous nous sommes très bien senti dans cet établissement.

Heerlijke comfortabele bedden, grote kamers en fijne warme douche.
Het zwembad is heerlijke temperatuur met een fijn ondiep gedeelte voor onze jonge kinderen.

De host was zeer vriendelijk en was erg behulpzaam.
