Not the best
Pros:

We have stayed in hotels often recently and this is the only one we have stayed at that is not updated at all. Bed wasn’t very comfortable, bath tub was old, even an old alarm clock that didn’t work. It wasn’t nasty. Just not very nice. It is also the only one that charges a $100 deposit.

Did not appreciate early check-in charge went just about an hour before 4 o’clock check-in paid extra for the dog fee. Hardly anybody at the place at that time you think they could come.

Pros:

Amazing staff at check in, great breakfast and breakfast staff. Overall not a bad stay, but stairs to second floor need cleaned and room could use an update of paint, especially in the bathroom. Overall, I would stay again.

Looking for a refund. We did not end up staying. The whole door jamb fell apart when we tried to open the door. The place is practically falling apart!!

Cockroaches and No Refund.
Pros:

We checked in at 4pm, and by 8pm after we had showered and ate dinner, we noticed the bathroom had cockroaches. We showed the manager after we packed our belongings. We were not offered an alternative room either. We had to leave and find a hotel 50+ minutes outside of Traverse City just to have a place to sleep that night.
Manager assured a refund after we contact who we booked through (Hotels.com) and now we’re being refused a refund from Quality Inn.
