Use public transportation from the airport to the hotel....
Cons:

Transport organization from the airport to the hotel... Requested and received confirmation for the SUV, picked up from an old "sedan" which they charged me 1200 MXP...taxi, Uber etc...for the same way costs around 300 MXP

Overpromise under deliver
Pros:

The building is iconic and has a bombastic, old-school hotel vibe with massive lobby and lots of sitting areas and nooks and a beautiful elevator .
Also the breakfast is great.

Cons:

The staff are very slow, most of them don’t speak English. There is also a musty smell in parts of the hotel, especially the dining area. They also charged me extra for gluten free bread for breakfast which I’ve never experienced as well as wanting to charge extra for a latte

Pros:

The breakfast options and service is great. With premium we also got access to the lounge and snacks/tea/coffee after 6pm, which was great. The premium rooms are spacious.

Cons:

We took premium rooms to avoid carpets/dust allergy reactions, but turns out that they dont clean for weeks below/behind bed and nightstands, so allergy was flaring up and after several requests, they still didnt clean.
