Great location, clean and safe, however rooms are small and noise level can be high.
Pros:

Location is perfect, middle of North Beach. Staff was very pleasant and room was clean.

Cons:

Room was small, view was rooftops, and next door washer/dryer started to rock the room at 9am. Note we were informed that this would occur but had no good options to move to different room.

Overall a lovely stay in a small boutique hotel
Pros:

The place has such an old school feel…a little like going back in time to the beatnik era! Amazing location in the heart of North Beach and also close to China Town.

Cons:

Room was a bit stuffy, and the window didn’t open.

Lloc ideal, equip fantàstic, neteja impecable, llit comodíssim - en un hotel d'època molt acollidor
Pros:

Una zona bonissima de SF - a tocar de Little Italy i de Chinatown, amb molts comerços, bars i restaurants a l'entorn, cosa que fa agradable el passeig a qualsevol hora. L'equip de recepció és encantador (Sara, Susan, Nick)

Cons:

No hi ha ascensor: cal pujar la maleta per les escales.

Our Happy Place in SF
Pros:

Everything! It’s our Go-To hotel when we visit SF. So charming and in the most perfect location in North Beach (Little Italy). Walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars. Walking distance to Coit Tower and Washington Square.

Cons:

No AC, so on a warm night (which isn’t that frequent in SF) you can use the fan in the room but we had to get creative with plugging it in so we could actually feel the air.

Great location and staff
Pros:

Great location, so close to great restaurants and bars. Staff were lovely and super helpful. Bed was incredibly comfortable.

Cons:

Not a lot to report. Place was really clean and comfortable. Only stairs which is awkward but the staff were kind enough to help with bags etc.
