I like this place a lot.
Pros:

The location is great. Close to Mo’s for breakfast, Cantina records and city lights bookstore, Chinatown and Italian food. Quiet neighborhood even if your room is off Columbus side. The staff are great, friendly but leave you alone at the same time. Comfortable rooms. Stayed there at least 3x so far. Cool place.

Cons:

The stairs can be steep or f you can’t handle stairs be warned.

Fabulous hotel in a great location
Pros:

Fabulous hotel in the best location. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were on the small side but the shower was really good and powerful.

Cons:

As others have mentioned the hotel is on a very busy road and this creates a lot of noise from the traffic. If you have issues sleeping take ear plugs or ask for a room at the rear.

The most charming hotel in North Beach
Pros:

Another great stay at Hotel Bohème! I love North Beach and this is the perfect hotel to enjoy the neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are adorable with a vintage charm, and the free sherry in the afternoon is a sweet touch. You can walk to all the best restaurants and bars in North Beach easily from here. Highly recommend. :)

An unexpectedly wonderful short stay in a very historic area.
Pros:

Great location in the middle of North Bay area. Characterful room, clean and smart period decoration. Lots of excellent places to eat around the hotel.

Cons:

Bit of a pain getting bags up and down to reception as there is no lift, but we knew about this in advance and there was help available. Worth it for the experience.

Great location, clean and safe, however rooms are small and noise level can be high.
Pros:

Location is perfect, middle of North Beach. Staff was very pleasant and room was clean.

Cons:

Room was small, view was rooftops, and next door washer/dryer started to rock the room at 9am. Note we were informed that this would occur but had no good options to move to different room.
