Excellent location: close to tourist attractions, restaurants & shops, while still being quiet. There was only a little noise from other guests slamming doors; absolutely no street noise. Room was clean and shower was great. Staff was very helpful. Self-service laundry facilities on site, although a bit expensive.
The room described as a “cozy king” is a tight squeeze for 2 people and difficult to navigate for anyone with mild mobility issues or less agile than in their youth. The room is literally exactly as wide as the bed so the bed has walls on 3 sides and you have to get in and out of bed by crawling up the foot of the bed. The open floor space in front of the bed was smaller than the bed itself and there was no closet or armoire, just 3 hangers and some pegs on a rail parallel to the wall. There is a big drawer under the bed that a small suitcase fits into, but if you have large suitcase, you’ll struggle with where to open it.

No fire alarm in the middle of the night
This hotel is an utter delight. The common spaces are well-appointed and friendly. The staff was very nice! The room was small, but lovely with comfy pillows and crisp, fresh-feeling linens. Breakfast was great! It was an amazing place to stay.
That I had an early flight and had to leave too soon. I would have loved to stay longer!

No remote control in the bedroom and couldn’t turn on the tv. Made 3 serrated phone calls to reception to get a controller sent up and still didn’t arrive after been told each time it would be up in a few mins. Someone else long hairs in the bed linen.
