The lovely receptionist (laura) that moved us to a better warm room because the 1st room was sooo cold!

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

Room was clean and comfortable and larger than expected.
Location was close to railway station and very close to town.

Cons:

Bathroom was small and outdated. Shower drain appeared partially blocked and shower tray filled up when using.

Pros:

Staff allowed me access to room 30 mins earlier, comfortable beds, space to work and easy to walk around town.

Cons:

Outside of hotel looks tired but can't fault service or rooms. Rooms could be before from a paint touch up.

I would stay here again!
Pros:

The staff working when we arrived, and when we had dinner and drinks in the restaurant, were excellent. The rooms were very nice and well equipped.

Cons:

When we made our reservation we were under the impression breakfast was included. There was confusion when we went to the restaurant for breakfast - the young woman working didn't understand what we were asking. It is not anything that would cause us to not stay again - just a little frustrating at her lack of knowledge of the reservation. The patio was quite worn.

Good value and recommended for a stopover
Pros:

We were given a top-floor room which had a great view. The staff were very helpful, and the lamb in the restaurant is highly recommended.
