Comfortable place to stay after a long, wet Great Walk
Pros:

Location, comfy beds and hot showers after our track walk. Good heater

Cons:

Room not cleaned properly - previous tenants game left behind curtain! Aesthetics were basic. Cleaning staff were not engaging when we said good morning. Bathroom and shower floor were VERY slippery when wet

It was a convenient but expensive overnight stay.
Pros:

Friendly staff, good location

Cons:

Over priced. The room had no air con but heater and/or pedestal fan. The door to the shared balcony was secured by a simple latch so not really safe and it was incredibly drafty when the wind blew.

Very easy, very pleasant at a handy location.
Pros:

The rooms were excellent - clean, fresh, comfortable and well-equipped

Cons:

The outside of the property is looking tired and could do with painting but don't let that put you off; It's modern and clean inside.

Cons:

The outside appearance is very unwelcoming and looks dirty, a very poor first impression. Once inside it improves slightly. There is no air conditioning which was a real problem in summer.

Good if you find yourself in this area.
Pros:

Nice room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Nice bar and restaurant (although very, very expensive).

Cons:

It’s in an industrial area and whilst we were able to park our motorcycles behind the old building, it didn’t feel very secure to us. Having said that, they were fine.

The windows in our room were filthy. They look onto a balcony so it’s not like they’re hard to clean as they’re within easy reach.

The outside of the hotel isn’t that nice, which differs from the inside.

Greymouth is an odd place after the beautiful coast road.
