It gets better once you are in there
Pros:

The hotel exterior was not very inviting with you entering via an asphalt carpark. There were towels on the floor both sides of the entrance door from the flooding a few days earlier.
Thankfully the interior décor was much more inviting. Our room was a good size and had comfortable beds and chairs. Shower pressure was also good.
We had dinner at the onsite restaurant which was pleasant.

Lovely hotel in town. My room was very large and comfortable. Free parking. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location and spacious rooms
Pros:

We were so lucky to be dealing with Monica who helped us to modify our booking after not being able to get to Greymouth via the Tranzalpine railway on its first day… she made sure we could still keep our room for the next day and adjusted our fee accordingly. The room was roomy and very comfortable and the breakfast was good value. Would highly recommend esp for customer service.

It was great - nothing not to like.
