Clean friendly comfortable - perfect location for our trip

Very nice hotel in Ely. Room was spacious and clean and they had a very good breakfast.

Friendly staff, great pool and breakast

Very friendly and accommodating staff as I needed a late checkout because I had to meet with some people in town.

Rooms were clean and very well organized. I only had one pillow that was unclean, which I just didn’t use. It was on the other bed.

Very clean. Room grounds entire facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Made us feel like valued members and customers. Parking was ample and safe. Location is excellent if you like terrific prime rib next door. Only complaint. The room air conditioner ran all night but could not get room cooler than 71 (65 set) even though it was 50 outside! Bed was firm. Pillows a little too soft but heat in room kept us awake. Will stay there again without a doubt and hope for better news next time.

Clean, welcome, well appointed room

This was our first time at a Holiday Inn Express and we were impressed. I would have rated this location higher if the fire alarm and mysterious sounds didn't happen.

Our King room was very large and spacious with a sofa and comfortable side chair with ottoman. There a space to place 2 large suitcases - a very rare but highly appreciated amenity.
Lighting could have been better with only 3 light fixtures. The bathroom was nice with decent counter space and storage.
There was a legitimate adjustable office chair at a decent size desk. We appreciated the soft-close toilet seat and the fan and hook in the bathroom. Also the towel bar under the sink and the small shelf behind the sink.
We did not appreciate the early morning fire alarm and subsequent mysterious high-pitch sound emanating from and unknown source.
No in room coffee, so toddled down to the very sophisticated machine in the breakfast area.

Modern and clean

The only inconvenience we experienced was no garbage collection or fresh towels between days. I personally spoke with housekeeping and said we'd be out in 30 minutes for service. We returned six hours later and nothing was touched.

Hotel was clean and the registration desk staff were great. The woman working the breakfast was not friendly and did not pay attention to the breakfast foods. According to people staying there the hotel sells out almost nightly in the summer and the breakfast should be kept up to unfortunately we arrived around 840 and breakfast was until 920 and the biscuits, omelets, sausages and pancakes were all already gone. When I went into the back room looking for someone she was surprised about the empty trays and said it would be 20 minutes before anything would be ready. I told her about the pancake machine and she said she could not refill it. It had yeast and had to sit overnight. Now if the hotel is selling out then why wasn’t she already prepared? It’s not like she would have to throw it away. The leftover portion of the pancake batter could be stored in the fridge overnight. Many more people came after me and were also not pleased. Sausages never made it out. 😝☹️

Clean and comfortable rooms; good breakfast

The staff are really kind and friendly people. The hotel in general and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and pillows fantastic. It’s a nice touch that the pillows have stitched labels on the pillowcases indicating whether they are firm or soft. The simple breakfast offered is perfect for getting started in the morning.
