The hotel has a lot of character. It was clean and the location was good.
We had a room close to the lobby and people were coming in and out most of the night. Laughing, talking loudly, going on and out the door. People were let in to talk and party with the night staff. Glad to check out of the hotel.
The lobby and sitting area were inviting with coffee and King cake. The desk staff, both afternoon, evening, and morning were wonderful.
The overhead light didn't work, the shower in the bathroom was horrible as barely any water came out of the showerhead, it took forever to get any hot water, and the room was street side (I easily heard people walking by talk and street noise, including trolley & buses)
I asked for a downstairs unit because my COPD makes it difficult to climb stairs with my suitcase. Instead of a room with no stairs, the room was in the back of the property with several two steps rises in the sidewalk & into unit.

No hot water in the shower until the night before we checked out. Otherwise, everything was great.
It's so cute!! Staff are great. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is there is no soundproofing between rooms and we had upstairs neighbors that I swear were doing trick jumps all night. But this was a them problem not the hotel problem so I would 100% stay again.

Small hotel with clean comfortable spacious rooms arranged round a courtyard and pool. Friendly helpful staff on reception. Good location in quiet area but only 10 minute walk from Bourbon Street and the city centre. Better value for money than properties in the centre.

Actual size of double room was small, no table or counter to even put coffee maker on. Stairs leading to room very worn out and little nerve racking to climb. Our room smelled of marijuana SO BAD!!! Everywhere smelled of weed! It was AWFUL!!! For a smoke free hotel it wasn’t weed smoke free at all! Our room was only stocked with 2 towels and 2 washcloths for a four person stay.
