stayed at the hotel with my family for just one night. A woman at the front desk named Pam attempted to charge the security deposit twice. Both times, the transaction was declined. On the third attempt, it went through—a charge of $250. Later, I realized that the amount had actually been debited twice. I returned to the front desk, where the same woman—Pam—claimed that the issue lay with my bank. I explained that it was the hotel that had debited the funds. Nevertheless, she insisted that the hotel's system showed only a single authorized debit of $250, whereas my account balance clearly displayed two separate transactions.
