Not a thing
Damian at concierge, Zack front desk, Lomusa as my server what a fabulous team and all great staff
Clean comfortable
$30 for a glass of wine. In restaurant. Had to go back to airport for car shuttle.
We stayed here for the convenience of catching an early morning flight home, not because we are Bonvoy members. It is the only airport associated chain hotel located at the end of a long crosswalk at Terminal B. This is an older Marriott that has not gotten much love and attention. It is dark and gloomy inside with spartan public spaces. It serves its function fine for getting to your gate, albeit with a bit of a hike. The rooms are adequate but small. The bed was perfectly comfortable and climate control fine. There was a single small sofa with stains, but the overall room and bathroom were clean. I would not stay here for pleasure or even meetings by choice. You simply look out onto parking structures or the industrial wasteland of I-95. PHL is still an awful airport. Being attached to the TSA lines at Terminal B, in order to get to terminal D pre-security you have to go down an escalator and walk outside down along successive buildings. We did not want to go through security at B since there is no TSA Pre-Check or Clear there which is totally silly. It took about 20 minutes of walking to get to the TSA access to Terminal D. So calculate that in your exit strategy. There is a restaurant and bar in the lobby called the Aviation Grill. The service was actually quite nice, and it was easy to score a reasonably priced dinner. The cocktails were the highlight of our stay. Rates for a single night standard room were in the low 300's which is not atypical for airport hotels.
The staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to make my stay go well and be flexible to my needs
Location, quiet, exercise room, good restaurant
It was great- just a bit dated in the room.
Just wanted to share how great 2 employees were with their positive attitudes while we had our 2 night stay. Lloyd in the M Club was so friendly he treated you like you were part of his family. Then Debbie in the restaurant, she was the only server on duty and the place was packed, continued with her positive attitude throughout our meal and it appeared to me all the customers realized she was the only server on the floor nd were all great to her
Worst Marriott I have stayed at and I am Titanium Elite and have stayed at a lot of Marriotts. Dirty, unorganized, bad smells and vibe. Only positive is that it is connected to the airport but trust me that does not make up for the rest. You would think that Marriott would care enough about their brand to force the owners to at least clean the carpeting or walls near the buttons to the elevator every ten years or so.
Room was very clean and in good shape. Carpet was clean it looked new so maybe they put new carpet in on the 9th floor!. Bed was very comfortable and room was very quiet. Had runway view and could not hear anything outside. Parking is a little confusing but once you figure it out it is easy. If you are driving park first as it appeared there were no bell services at the front entrance to the hotel.
Food at the restaurant was very good. Get a cheese steak and the brownie Sunday. Both are excellent as were the pancakes and eggs Benedict for breakfast. The service in the restaurant was excellent. I asked for the brownie Sunday at breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate my request!!
The airport was not busy so no traffic getting to the hotel.
Close to the airport
A solid hotel -- excellent location (200-yard walk from Terminal B) and good facility. Staff at front desk were efficient and accommodating. Rooms are quiet (no airplane noise), beds comfortable. Gym is very nice. Location is excellent for access to train as well as airport. This is the only PHL airport hotel that does not require a shuttle (and some of those other options are pretty bad). Only downside is the price, which is generally very high except on occasional weekend days.
It’s connected to the airport
the lighting in the room was dark
