Pros:

Very helpful staff, great ambience in the house we had to ourselves, including a nice garden and veranda. Breakfast was better than I'd expected. Beds were super comfortable.

Cons:

A few mosquito coils or wall plugs might have helped, though beds had good mosquito nets.

Beautiful peaceful hotel
Pros:

Lovely boutique style hotel with many thoughtful touches. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable with large attractive balconies. The staff were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was great. The swimming pool was the nicest we've seen in Sri Lanka, surrounded by trees and birds.

Quiétude dans un très bel endroit
Pros:

C’était parfait, beau et calme
Le personnel est adorable. La chambre, la piscine le cadre général sont fabuleux. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux.
A 7mn en Tuk tuk des plages d’Unawatuna, idem pour le centre de Galle

Wonderful stay at Bilin Tree House.
Pros:

My family loved our visit! The managers were so kind and helpful. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed learning about some of the different plants in the garden and visiting birds and monkeys. The pool is amazing. Easy tuk tuk to town. Food was excellent. We stayed in the 3 bedroom house. The visit was perfect.

Pros:

Het is een mooi verblijf, kleinschalig, ze reageren snel op mailtjes en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed. De mensen zijn super vriendelijk en wij hebben heerlijk geslapen in het fijne bed, na een lange vlucht.

Hele warme service in een mooi boutique hotel
Pros:

Een heel mooi plekje waar je echt tot rust komt. En ruim huis met een mooie tuin waar je kan chillen en alles bij de hand hebt. De slaapkamers zijn lekker koel en de klamboe voorkomt muggen.
Een mooi zwembad, niet zo’n blauwe bak maar veel aandacht voor stijl.
Het ontbijt was grandioos. Je kon aangeven wat je wilde en ze maakten het voor je.
De mensen zijn overal gastvrij in Sri Lanka en hier geen uitzondering. Niet pushen maar echt willen helpen. Een hele warme ervaring!

Oase in de stad, goede plek om Galle te bezoeken
Pros:

Echt mooi onderhouden, goed zwembad, vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt.

Cons:

Het ligt in een lelijk deel van de stad, alhoewel dit stukje echt als een oase voelt. Hoor je al heel vroeg de drukte van de stad.

Un super accueil dans un petit paradis

Nos hôtes ont été exceptionnels avec nous, gentils, à l'écoute, toujours prêt à aider. Les chambres et la villa sont très belles, bien décorées et propres. Le jardin est très joliment aménagé. La piscine est top. Sans aucun doute une super adresse!

Serenely calm property, a perfect base from which to explore Galle Fort and enjoy sister hotel on Unawatuna beach.
Pros:

Serenely calm property. Tropical garden nicely manicured. Staff couldn’t do enough. No alcohol served, but staff happily went out to fetch cold beers.
Close proximity to Galle Fort, a short TukTuk ride away. Has a sister hotel, Tartaruga on the nearby Unawatuna beach to which we had free and full access. Perfect combination for a day on the beach followed by exploration and dinner in the Fort. Can’t recommend this property highly enough. 🪷🕉️🙏🏻
