Great stay, trip was worth it!
Pros:

Staff, accommodation, service and location was all excellent!

Cons:

Our suite was looking at the brand-new building in construction. Unfortunately, this new high-rise is blocking the view of this beautiful city. Then again, it's happening everywhere...

The room was clean and spacious but then we paid more for an extra large room.

DO NOT STAY HERE FROM MARCH 2026 if you want a quiet room. HUGE construction going on only 10 to 20 meters away in the huge building next to the hotel. This is not a small construction, every morning from 7am huge noise. A external construction lift for builders going up and down. A huge crane moving materials etc. All this going on from our window view. The hotel was very disappointing. They knew this construction was going on and they knew we paid for a premium room with balcony but instead of putting us on another side of the building they decided to put us right on the side of the construction. The hotel has rooms on 4 sides of the building and they were not fully booked so they could have placed us correctly., no one should be placed so close to heavy construction work. If you book here make sure this construction has ended. Its a huge building job going on in march 2026. Staff were kind , rooms was clean but slightly dated.

Great place to stay
Pros:

The location was great. I loved the attached restaurants. Check-in was quick, and staff were friendly. I appreciated the separate seating area so our early riser could relax without disturbing the others.

Cons:

The construction around the hotel made finding the entrance confusing at first, but our room did not face it and was quiet inside.

Very nice stay
Pros:

Spent 2 nights here on a birthday trip for my mother’s 87th bday. Three of us total. We had a 1 bedroom suite on the 5th floor. We never heard or saw any construction that some other reviews mentioned. Everything about our stay was great. The hotel is nice, modern and tastefully decorated. Very good location- walking distance and convenient to everything. There is a Starbucks and restaurant on site. We had a buffet breakfast there our last morning and the service as well as the offerings were very good. Scrambled eggs were offered on the buffet but you could also order eggs directly. Our room had everything we needed and was spacious enough for the 3 of us with an eating table and mini kitchenette with coffee/tea, fridge, sink and microwave. Great if you wanted to dine in. Valet parking was also prompt and efficient. We will definitely think of staying there again in the future.

Nice weekend with relaxing room and comfortable stay
Pros:

Walking distance from dock if you are taking sea plane. Nice restaurants, good city vibe.
Location was convinient irrespective of where do you want to go both Nanaimo as well as south victoria. The team was accomodating of our late checkout as well easy checkin.

Cons:

Price for parking car but i guess keeping with the safety, valet was necessary. Wish it could have been cheaper than 30$
