Excellent appartment in a great location - one of the best I've stayed in
Pros:

We were in a 2 bed appartment and it was excellent, lots of space, good setup, comfy bed, and a powerful shower. It also had a roof terrace which was a lovely place to sit. I wish I lived there.

Cons:

So much glass is great for views, but the appartment did heat up even with blinds down, the aircon had to be at full to keep it cool.

The property is good, but the receptionist really ruined the overall experience and reputation.

The kitchen is good.

Cons:

The receptionist was very rude.

On the day of checkout, we asked for a one-hour late checkout as we needed to take all our luggage to the University of Melbourne, where the earliest entry time was 11:30am. However, the man at reception refused, saying they were fully booked and the cleaner was waiting to clean our room.

As there is no proper reception area where guests can stay, we were told to take all our luggage outside and wait in front of the building. We ended up waiting on the roadside for about an hour, yet no cleaner came to the room during that time.

We are very disappointed with how this situation was handled.

Very enjoyable.
Pros:

The unit was spacious, clean and well maintained, the location suited us as close to family and the city. There was adequate cooking facilities, and bathroom was nice and large. We enjoyed our stay.

Ideal location from which to explore melbourne
Pros:

Reception was very helpful. Appartment was clean tidy and modern. Location was idea as base from which to explore Melbourne, with just a short walk to tram stop and local shops. Walk to Flinders St Stn also not too far if you want the exercise or there is an issue with trams. Bedrooms were an adequate size (if you're tidy!)

Cons:

The view from bedrom windows was a brick wall just a few feet away. The appartment is for 4 people (2 double bedrooms), but only 2 chairs on balcony and dining table was rather small for 4 people. View from balcony was another wall across the side access passage. Noisy bin collection lorry arrived every day. Could have done with a few more coat hangers (probably could have have got from reception if we had asked). However, these were quite trivial as we only used the appartment as a base to sleep and have breakfast, for which it was ideal.

Great place
Pros:

Roomy, exceptionally clean, plenty of supplies which was so nice, upgraded to a 2 bed, we was on the ground floor which I thought my be a problem because it was on the street but it was really quite and its a nice area.

Really enjoyed the location and so good for quick easy access to VIC market, hospitals, north Melbourne cafes, bars.
Pros:

The location is excellent, within minutes walk from great cafes, and 57 tram.
