It never felt like a hotel, interaction between staff and guests seemed hampered by the odd layout,
Pros:

The breakfast room, on the 8th Floor it's an amazing view. I guess the main reason I chose it. It was a bold design decision to adapt the old building, sadly it ended up lacking.

Cons:

The room servicing was poor. Seems even after leaving a note to restock the hot drink beverage sachets, you end up with 6 powdered coffee sachets, no restock of tea bags, no replacement coffee creamer. Complimentary water bottle seal was broken. pointed out on note, never replaced. It never felt like a proper hotel, Bedrooms on flrs 2,3 &4 flrs5-7 Office Flrs. Flr 8 Reception, Restaurant and Bar. Plumbing has to be the worse issue. Paying 5* Prices for plumbing suited more to a cabin on a car ferry, vacuum suction toilets. shower and sink wastes gathered and pumped out. Made a wonderful symphony in the morning. Building exterior under maintenance covered in scaffolding on the lower hotel floors. Depressing dark corridors on hotel accommodation floors.

Die Lage war sehr gut und das Reinigungspersonal war sehr akkurat und nett.

Cons:

Das Personal beim Frühstück war nicht sehr motiviert und trat sehr unfreundlich auf. Beim Frühstück waren an allen 3 Tagen das Schwarzbrot alle. Auf Anfrage gab man vor sich Mühe zu geben, leider äußerst unfreundlich und das Brot wurde trotzdem nicht aufgefüllt. Grundsätzlich wurden beim Frühstück einige Dinge wie Marmelade, Gurken etc. nicht zeitig wieder aufgefüllt.
Aktuell befindet sich im Hotel eine Baustelle und es wurde früh morgens über uns angefangen zu bohren und Dinge zu verrücken.
Wir haben im Parkhaus direkt beim Hotel geparkt und leider war es dort auch eine einzige Baustelle und für das öffnen der Schranke wurde uns eine Telefonnummer gegeben die angerufen werden musste damit sich die Schranke öffnet. Leider ging kein Personal ans Telefon worauf ich rein laufen musste und dort wurde mir äußerst unfreundlich begegnet, sowohl vom Personal als auch vom Hoteldirektor. Es wurde mir mit keiner Entschuldigung sondern nur Rechtfertigungen begegnet. Rundum leider trotz guter Lage eine herbe Enttäuschung und absolut den Preis nicht wert.

Top Lage zur Erkundung Hamburgs
Pros:

Top Lage, grandioser Ausblick auf den Hafen, tolle Öffi-Anbindung, wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar (Elbphilharmonie ca. 30 min)

Cons:

Situation mit dem Abwassersystem war gewöhnungsbedürftig (man muss sich erst mal daran gewöhnen), ansonsten alles super

Super Frühstück mit toller Aussicht. Zimmer etwas klein.
Pros:

Der Stil des Hotels war sehr schön.
Tolle Bar, tolles Frühstück

Cons:

Leider ist das Zimmer doch etwas eng, die Aussicht auf den „Innenhof“ könnte schöner sein.
Leider einige Spinnenweben an der Decke.

Schönes Hotel, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht.
Pros:

Schönes Hotel, direkt am Wasser gelegen. Die Rooftopbar bietet einen schönen Ausblick auf den Hafen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Cons:

- Check-In leider ist ab 15 Uhr möglich
- Personal in der Rooftopbar leider unterirdisch schlecht. Die Bar hat angeblich bis 1 Uhr nachts offen, Last Order war bereits um Mitternacht.
- schlechte Anbindung in den ÖPNV, keine direkt u-Bahn oder S-Bahn in der Nähe, nur mit Bus zu erreichen

I had a problem with workers seeing as i woke up and was almost naked. No one warned there were constructions, i arrived late and couldnt see. I solicit a refund
