Most of the advertised elements (spa, dining, conference rooms) are not completed yet or closed for repairs. Hotel was <5% occupied when we were there, and the limited staff were using the hotel for other commercial activities. We left after one night. We recommend avoiding this property.
No shopping or restaurants around the area (within walking distance)
Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were polite and helpful, even though I didn't speak Mandarin. I thought the breakfast had enough variety.
I can't comment on the hot spring facilities or distance from sites as I only slept here, due to arriving late after a long transit, and leaving early the following morning!
It will cost me $250 in US for the hotel I got in Xining. I only spent $70is. Everything is great plus breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!
The room was extra spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom shower was soothing. The breakfast which we were offered for free was an excellent spread of tasty local food. The staff were extremely polite, respectful and so eager to help. The two shift managers spoke very good English and helped us no end. The driver who took us round the city was thoughtful and explained everything with the help of a translator app. On the whole one of the best places I have stayed at world wide.

Lovely hotel nice staff good breakfast - but hotel was 30km away from Map pin on Expedia and in the middle of nowhere Seems like that was Expedia fault though they wouldn’t admit the error!!

Its was a fantastic stay we got upgraded to a suite which was really, really nice.
I liked the variety of options they gave me for breakfast both Chinese and Western. I also liked the prompt manner in which I was checked in and appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and room.
This is of course no fault of the hotel company, but ideally I would have liked to have been closer to the city center or some local attractions.
The staff at the desk and elsewhere were very good
The spa next door is much worse than many others we have been to in China. If staying just for that then it would not be worth it.
It's doesn't have full services such as room service etc yet. Limited menu etc.
