If I didn’t know better, I’d say the owners have reconfigured the hotel for asylum seekers rather than tourists.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

It’s really gone downhill since I last stayed there. No kitchen. The downstairs bar is now closed and looks ugly and derelict.

Value for money
Pros:

We loved the location of the hotel as have stayed here a couple of times now. The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and straightforward.

Cons:

Unfortunately we found the room too hot even with the window open a fan would of been ideal. In the height of summer I think it would be unbearable without one.

The bathroom was very dated which is quite a mismatch with the modern feel of the room.

The lift isn't really fit for purpose as its a squeeze getting two people and luggage in their and it made an awful noise. I would advise the stairs.

There is nothing which I would like to talk about it but hahaha as we all know it’s summer people sleep late so I think the chcekout time should be 12pm

Great budged hotel
Pros:

Good location, for a budget hotel, very good, stylish and comfortable. I was surprised to find a mini fridge in my room! . Room was clean and although small, had space for everything. Even small things like charger with USB C.

Cons:

I would have like a receptionist 24/7

Pros:

Didn't take breakfast. I was passing through town on a coastal hike, and simply needed a bed. Picked The Pier as the lowest priced, conveniently located on Google Map. Room exceeded my expectations.

Pros:

Very Nice Chap at Reception
who couldn't have been more helpful.
I booked a single room for the night and though small, it was beautifully appointed, very well decorated and very clean.
Modern bathroom, very comfortable bed and all that I needed for a short stay.
Nice and quiet too.

Pros:

The was small but clean but the beds were awful too lol to the ground we had a lot of trouble getting a d out of bed the mattresses weren't good once you were laying g in bed they keep sliding to one side it needs new beds and ma7 the room was a de luxke twin room I think not
