Cons:

There was a sign in the bathroom to close the shower curtain, but shower curtain wasn't long enough so water splashed outside the tub.

Would of liked a check out time at 12 that you didn't have to pay for. Would of appreciated somewhere to leave luggage as check out early.

Pros:

Comfortable quiet clean room. Simple and a little dated but the place is clearly well cared for and no complaints at all for a one night stay at a great value price. Tea, coffee, shower gel etc provided. Staff on site and a friendly welcome.

The manager is a tyrant and will scam you

When I went there I got scammed out of £111.16. The manager is a nasty piece of work he was mixed race with a big black beard balding on top and glasses. I have video proof of what happened. I got there for a booking 8th May to 10th May 2026 and the room was disgusting urine stains on the walls peeling wallpaper and lopsided wardrobe and one of the taps on the sink was so loose you could move it around Like a door handle and it could have ripped off at any point which would burst water and floor the bathroom very dangerous the toilet was loudly leaking and broken he refused to fix it said he won’t get an emergency plumber on weekend as it’s too expensive acting like I was someone staying for free in his house. The shower was also broken and damp all over the walls and was a filthy and dirty. I’ve seen streets cleaner than this room. He then offered to refund me but kept swearing at me and guilt tripping me. So I legally recorded him for my own protection while he did the refund knowing he was recording me anyway from the huge tv screen to my left showing his cctv and I could see myself on it in real time. But when he saw I was filming him he went ‘are you filming’ and then he screamed ‘NO REFUND !!!’ Saying to me he refused it just because I was filming but I never told him I was filming he only see that because he was watching me on his own cctv to look at what k was doing on my iPhone to look at what I was doing on my own device is spying and an illegal invasion of privacy I was only filming him not his device or what he was doing on his own device . So he then had the insane logic that he would not refund me just because I filmed evidence of him filming me. He threatened to make up lies to police about me so I left and called police myself and then he went even further and said to booking.com bragging about how many different ways he was filming me. How he was filming me not just on cctv but ring doorbell too and in the very same message he said ‘but won’t refund guest because he was filming’ while bragging about filming me in the same message it’s an insane double standard and the manager is drunk with power he thinks he has he thinks he’s immune tj the law and despite booking.con cancelling my booking for free due to what happened they’ve refused to refund the money for nearly 2 months even though the booking was cancelled for free 2 months ago

Good location
Pros:

Perfect location right opposite the pier, everything needed in room and good value for money. Bed very comfy, but noise from people in alleyway below. Had to park in the multi storey car park which was a 10 min walk. Room was adequate but definitely in need of a deep clean. Water pressure not good. Overall good for 1 night but probably wouldn’t stay for any longer
