Wonderful staff make the hotel special
Pros:

Staff was awesome. We first were on a very noisy floor due to a group of US nursing students on a long stay, but the desk staff upgraded us to a better room on the uppermost floor, which was not only quiet but a better view. The breakfast was also extremely good (breakfast staff also very nice). We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. Also, the hotel is very close to the Reina Sophia museum, and to the metro.

Cons:

"As the crow flies" the hotel is quite close to the train station, but the elevation is different, and it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Not a deal-breaker by any means, just a bit unexpected based on looking at the map.

Bad Front Desk
Pros:

I have never met a more ignorant woman than the person at the front desk.
The minute I arrived she had attitude.....was "put out" to answer any questions asked.
The hotel itself is ok.....limited....but the pathetic person at check in should go work for the YWCA....that might even be too much for her.
I'm in the Travel Industry for 45yrs, and have never encountered such a person.

Pros:

El hotel esta bien la cama es comoda , y la hab amplia.
Ademas nos pudieron dejar entrar antes i hacer un late check out de una hora, eso mejoro bastante la estancia

Cons:

La habitacion solo tenia 1 toalla, un cepillo de dientes, etc cuando eramos dos.
No dispusimos de zapatillas tampoco.
El aire no iba muy bien.
No se podia ventilar

Convenient for city centre and train station
Pros:

Friendly helpful Staff. Clean and tidy. Brilliant sun rise. I liked the fact that there was an external black out roller blind

Cons:

Young ladies in the room next door came home at 4am. Walking around in stiletto heals and making telephone calls. Fortunately the settled down after 20 mins
