Great location 👌
Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms
Nothing it was great
Location
The beds have more springs than a trampoline and not worth the price for the age of the building ($312) per night at the end of October.
The food at the restaurant was very good as well as the serving staff. Delicious food and lovely ambiance. The hotel staff was lovely.
The bed was hammocking in the middle and it smelled a little damp from the tub in the room. We were mainly disappointed about the fact that on our booking through booking.com we were promised the Beverly Hills Suite and we did not get it. It was our honey moon night and I had booked that suite especially. We were told it was an error on Booking.coms part. If so that was a misrepresentation. We did not want to argue that night as it was late and we were tired. The staff gave us a bottle of wine as compensation which was kind, but really I should have called the next day and asked them to sort out a better discount on the room as we were there two nights and had expected a much nicer suite. Lesson learned.
No breakfast offered/provided. Took a terrible tumble on main floor lobby area - there was something gelatinous on the floor that caused the fall - i have pictures - ambulance was called (a couple staying there had passed by me & turned around when they heard (?) me go down). 5 hours in emerg, spinal compression fracture, injured left thumb (still swollen) & tendon strain (?) right knee (2 weeks into 6-8 week healing there). Looking 4 commensurate compensation (pics taken of the ‘liquid’ possibly from the cleaning cart (this accident occurred near the storage room/kitchen
Floor cleanliness - i saw another spill the next day, 2nd floor, outside the elevator - went down & reported 2 (skeptical) front desk clerk (female) who did follow me up - as we exited the elevator 2 couples were waiting & one of them stepped into the ‘goo’ (?) spill (have a pic b4 that, when i 1st saw it)
Staff at the front desk were friendly. The best Jacuzzi tub EVER in our suite.
Nothing it was a great stay
great location right downtown, comfortable rooms, and the staff was very friendly and helpful
Clean convenient location
Hotel is old and revamped, but looks and feels tired beyond the lipstick. Rooms look at old buildings and it is noisy. Pool was not clean.
Definitely not worth $266.00 for a night. If you admire the “what once was then” this hotel offers you something to admire as it definitely has seen its golden years come and go.
Gym was closed when I wanted to use it as doesn’t open until 7 which I think it should be 6 at least. Didn’t use pool or hot tub. Looked okay. My room fridge didn’t work and stuff spoiled. Cleanliness just alright. Beds pretty comfy. If sensitive to noise - there was loud intermittent noise and I was unsure what it was. Provides ear plugs
Location location location. Wonderful staff.
