Fun location on the beach!
Pros:

The main reason to stay here is the location. It is directly on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk. You are literally a few steps from the front door to the beach. Also there are dozens of restaurants and shops within walking distance. It is a noisy lively area, so not for one who wants a quiet retreat.

Cons:

The Hotel Sheldon is an old building and very "tired" It has been completely renovated and so it is in much better shape than when we stayed there a decade ago. It is clean and convenient. We stayed in a balcony room which is amazing because of the view..you can sit and enjoy a view of the beach/ocean/ and all that is going on down on the boardwalk. The bathroom is tiny tiny..which might not bother many. It made everything a bit more difficult since there is literally no counter to place toiletries on, etc. definitely far from luxury, but you can't fault the location if that is where you want to be!

Overall, I enjoyed my birthday trip/stay. I would definitely recommend to others and plan to visit again.
Pros:

I loved everything about the property, having the tent towels and beach chairs was a great idea. We had an issue with the tv the first night and the next day staff made sure our issue was fixed. Super friendly super sweet.

Cons:

I didn’t like parking wasn’t included in the resort fee. 34$ for parking when you’re staying at the resort is a little pricey

NEVER AGAIN, HORRIBLE STAY.
Pros:

Horrible stay. Did not like anything about the property other than the location on the beach.

Cons:

My truck was almost towed from the parking lot while checking
In (about 5 minutes )
Groups of people hanging out outside after midnight being loud and obnoxious
Room walls could hear everything in the hallway and next rooms
Light came in super bright through all curtains and front door
Bathroom only able to have 1 person in it at a time it was tiny
For the price and the pics online I expected much better than what we got !
