We hosted a bridal shower at the Magnolia Hotel for our soon to be daughter in-law and what a wonderful experience we had. The event space was very nice and the service we received from Lindsey, Sydney and Cassie was exceptional. We really appreciated everything they did for us, highly recommend the Magnolia for event needs.

Hotel was centrally located. Clean and very old and beautiful restored. Loved the outdoor patio space in the evening to have a wine and listen to the music playing on the speaker system. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure was ok. Hotel smelt amazing. Nicole - wattress was great.
I stayed overnight at this hotel on my way to Chicago. It's advertised as a 4-star boutique hotel, but there was no valet (it was 100 when I arrived) and I had to self-park in the back. The accessible room I was given was ok, but not up to the standard of other 4-star hotels I've stayed in. I felt like I was paying to stay in an historic building, rather than a luxury hotel. I wouldn't pay more than I would for a room at the Drury Hotel, where I get added benefits for a 3-star stay (extra food & large room with bath).
What a great experience this morning at Olive & Ira’s at the Magnolia Hotel! Monique deserves a big shout of “Job Well Done!” as our receptionist and server for breakfast.
Unfortunately, our stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha was disappointing.
We arrived around midnight after a long day of driving and the bathroom in our room did not even look fully ready or properly tidied. The receptionist who checked us in was also not particularly friendly or welcoming, which was not a great first impression that late at night.
The much bigger issue happened after we parked directly in front of the hotel. Our tire was deliberately slashed overnight, which appeared to be an obvious act of property crime. As out of town guests, we had no way of knowing whether this was an area where vehicle damage or theft was a concern. I feel the hotel should make guests aware of potential security issues and, if this is a known concern in the area, provide or clearly recommend a more secure parking option.
When people are traveling through an unfamiliar city, they rely on the hotel for more than just a room. A clean, ready room, a welcoming arrival and reasonable guidance about where it is safe to leave a vehicle should be basic expectations. Unfortunately, our experience here fell short on all three.
Had a wonderful time at a wedding celebration. Cassie was a wonderful waitress always checking in on our party and the bride. She worked tirelessly and was there consistently with a smile and compliments.
