The staff was great! The lobby was beautiful!
The room was upsetting. Pretty run down actually! We had hair in the tub and all over the shampoo/conditioner bottles. Our trash was only picked up once during our 4 night stay.
The room was large, stuff was nice
Cooling not very good for second room. Only two elevators to use so had a long wait to get to room. Called and didnt get towels
Breakfast
Water in tub would not drain and elevator did not work.
The staff was great, the rooms were clean
The beds were not very comfortable.
Face lift needed. Staff is great
Overall good. Hotel is situated near the office I was visiting, so the location proved to be ideal. Manager’s reception was always nice and the dinner items I ordered were superb.
Breakfast is standard for an Embassy. The 6:30 AM start time was merely a suggestion, with the breakfast running late daily. The omelette bar was always late to open, sometimes running over 10 min late.
Location to our needed venue
We were given a dirty room. Tried calling front desk and housekeeping, couldn't get thru the AI phone system
So I called corporate to get the site phone number. Had to go back down to wait in line again to recheck back in to get a clean room. Parking was an extra fee for a "secured", lot was full. We had to walk quite a ways to entrance from vehicle in dark with questionable people lurking. I requested a call back from management which they didn't return. Never received an apology from anyone on site.
Price and how clean it was
Free breakfast
This hotel is sooo outdated and on the verge of being cringy. 2 of the 3 elevators were broke. So the process of getting bags and suitcases down was a nightmare. The tub is old and gross, rooms have peeled of wallpaper exposing what looks to be mold. The beds must be the originals from 1985 because you can feel the springs on your back. Everything was lacking from the lobby bathroom not having soap in the containers, the locks being broken, the lightbulbs in our room flickering, and the staff not answering the phone for 20 mins to try and get extra towels. I would highly recommend against this hotel. Needs an entire overhaul!
I had a 2 night stay booked here. My flight was cancelled so I missed my first night. I arrived at 9:00 AM and told the front desk that I missed the first night. The first night was removed, but I was charged a $50 early check-in fee, which was fair to me.
After reading reviews on this location, I was a little nervous of what I would find. While my room was dated (think late 80s/Early 90s), the room was extremely clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was not worn. This was an enjoyable stay.
Breakfast was very good with an attentive crew. Happy Hour drinks (limit of 2) were small and weak, but I won’t complain about free drinks.
This location is very convenient to MCI and downtown is approximately 25 minutes away. If in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Food was good. Staff was friendly.
That we were not told about the bed bugs. Was bitten 7xs.

I’ve stayed at several Embassy Suites and this was a disappointment. The hotel is falling apart (especially the pool room) and not kept clean. To add, they kept running out of every food option at breakfast, even having no coffee for over 30 minutes. Finally, you have to pay for parking which is crazy because it’s not downtown or any place where non guests would potentially park. It’s just another way to make money off guests. I would not stay here again. Rooms are also outdated.
Location
Room were not clean. Carpet smells like mold. You cannot adjust the AC. Fridge doesn't work.
My wife has asthma, could not sleep because of air quality in the room!
The breakfast compared to other Embassy Suites was minimal. They did have the omelette bar open, which was great, but no yogurts or other options typical at this chain.
That I had to pay $10 to park and that the expectation for an Embassy Suites breakfast is pretty standardized and this did not meet the norm in terms of the chain. You get the feeling they are really tight on money.
