Lohnt sich nicht
Pros:

Die Lage war gut und es war sauber.

Cons:

Es war das schlechteste Hotel, in dem ich war von der Althoff Kollektion. Das Hotel wirkt sehr in die Jahre gekommen und man sieht an den Wänden, dass es schon lange Zeit nicht mehr renoviert wurde. Ich dachte zuerst, dass jeder in diesem Haupthaus schläft. Aber das ist nicht der Fall. Dort gibt es nur ein paar Zimmer und sonst ist man in einem Bettenbunker untergebracht.
Die Parkplätze kosten etwas, obwohl es nicht ausgeschildert ist. Ich finde man sollte es mit Schildern hinschreiben, dass die Parkplätze was kosten.
Das Personal war freundlich, aber konnte keine Tipps zu Restaurants oder Ausflugszielen geben. Insgesamt verstehe ich nicht, warum dieses Hotel ein Fünfsternehotel ist. Ich kenne von einem Fünfsternehotel einen anderen Anspruch.

Sitlvolles schönes Hotel mit tollem Personal, gutem Essen und Frühstück und zentraler, ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Sehr schönes stilvolles altes Hotel, welches auch sehr zentral gelegen ist. Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite, die eine sehr gute Größe hat und auch gut aufgeteilt ist. Das Personal war überaus engagiert und freundlich, das Frühstück mit sehr reichhaltiger Auswahl war ebenfalls top, so auch das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant und der Drink in der sehr schönen Hotellobby. Sowohl der Fitnessraum als auch das Schwimmbad waren ebenfalls gut.

Cons:

Hier und da müsste etwas renoviert werden und z. B auch einfach mal Blätter zusammengekehrt werden, Geländer gestrichen werden etc. Kleine Ursache, große Wirkung und schon würde alles noch etwas gediegener wirken. Der neu angebaute Teil ist architekonisch nicht besonders hübsch, was nicht auf die Zimmer darin zutrifft. Leider war im Hotel nachts eine Party, ein vorheriger Hinweis darauf wäre nett gewesen.
