Don’t stay … Beware

⚠️ Warning about Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport
1 Industry Lane, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15275 place! Booked through Priceline for Aug 2025, but they denied us a room saying 3rd-party bookings aren't guaranteed and Wyndham Wyndham Garden Wyndham Wyndham Rewards come first. Left, but still got charged. Priceline dragged their feet, saying they were waiting on the hotel till Jan 2026 , and by the time they responded, disputing the charge was a no-go Bank of America (they never helped) when we asked from hotel the proof of stay, and they gave a random room number. Manager didn't budge, even when they checked and saw the card wasn't ours. Still waiting on receipt and ID – nothing 🙅. Definitely think twice before booking 🙅.

Mentioned upon check in and two other times that the cold water faucet did not work. Was never fixed. Room was not serviced. Ran out of Kleenex. The building is tired. The breakfast is not good.

While it served as a place to stay for a quick, one night visit to the area, I would not stay again.
Pros:

Not sure that there was much that I really liked. I guess that I could say that housekeeping did do a reasonable but not great job. I booked this on very short notice as in on Saturday evening for a Sunday night stay and this was one of the semi-reasonable rates in the area although I have stayed many places for a better rate for better facilities.

Cons:

Location is buried in an industrial park. First room, the bathroom light did not work. Second room, the heater did not work, but by the time I realized that (11:30 pm), I didn't feel like changing rooms again so i Just tolerated the coolness. In bathroom/ entry area of the room it appeared that a coat of paint had been applied that did not fully cover the previous color, should have had a second coat of paint. There was grout that was stuck / smeared to the top of the floor tiles. There were 2 wall tiles in the shower that looked like a groove was ground into them with a grinder. The bathroom mirror was angled toward the ceiling, wasn't too bad of a problem for me since I am almost 6' tall but would be a problem for someone closer to 5' tall. The tub was evidently mounted on a piece of lumber at floor level and the lumber was still exposed. Overall lighting in the room was fair. I had to go looking for the TV remote and found it in the nightstand drawer. The front of the TV had smears on it, possibly from using the wrong cleaning products on it. The lighting in the hallway (2nd floor) was dim and dingy with several light fixtures not working. At the elevator call button (2nd floor), one button was dislodged and pushed into the housing and the wall around the call button housing looked like something, maybe a sign, had been there that was torn off the wall leaving residue / damaged wall.

staff goes MIA. Location is tucked away and sketchy. Facility is falling apart. Elevator was down, shower head loose from wall, cable went out, breakfast was stale bagels/muffins.

Very clean and updated hotel! Horrible breakfast and Noone working front desk in am for chkout
Pros:

The cleaning staff were super helpful when our room key stopped working and Noone was at the front desk due to their manager walking out that night. Thank goodness for them or we were out of luck getting into the room.

Cons:

Horrible breakfast, guy tried taking it away well before the end of breakfast hours, as we were in the middle of getting food.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable stay.
Pros:

The room was great. It was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. The air conditioning in the room was great and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Parking was good and easy to navigate.

Cons:

The breakfast area was minimal and the food was not good and the coffee area was lacking. The restaurant downstairs was also closed.

Decent for the price would probably not return.
Pros:

It was close to the airport

Cons:

Building needed work drywall was falling down in places on the ceiling. Pool was covered and disgusting out of order. Room was decently, cleaned. Some of the chairs have stains in them. You could tell it was outdated furniture. One of the clerks upfront was not very friendly.

For breakfast we had to go and ask for plates, refill etc.

Coffee was cold. And worst was that there was no staff in night. There were cops telling us to go back as there was no staff.
