Ask for handicap room didn’t get
Bath tub no nonslip on tub floor only 1 handral friend fell in tub ended up going to ER in ambulance they don’t know if will pay bill. Kids running in hall at 2 am kids out on roof of 2nd floor ask to accommodate for extra night they said full price one desk girl very unfriendly and rude.will not stay here again. The older lady with the neck tat who worked the desk is why this review is 2 stars and not 1. She is a gem. However, we checked into our room and my husband found a roach…we asked to switch rooms and were given a room that had not been cleaned yet. It still had someone’s jackets hanging. The beds weren’t super comfy and the hot tub was outta commission. The breakfast was subpar. It was basically cereal, pecan spinwheels, yogurt, and kids juice boxes. For very little more, check out the Baymont across the street instead.

We arrived to check in 4:00 pm. After checking in we noticed a sign on the pool area Closed for Maintenance! Well that wasn’t online that it was closed which messed up some of our plans of relaxation. We went up to the 3rd floor and noticed a nasty run down odor. We go in our room and it smells like old cigarette smoke and dirty. I called the front desk and tell Missy that the room smelled like smoke, she pauses and says ok and nothing else. I asked for a new room and she states they are booked full and nothing else to offer. I told her to document that we complained so we would not be charged for smoking in a room. We had dinner reservations with another couple and had no time to find another hotel. They advertise Moonshine pub, but if you look online it is permanently closed. For a hot breakfast there was a waffle maker and some sausage egg and cheese sandwich’s to put in microwave. The bananas were all spotty, so we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. Hopefully people resd these bad reviews, which I took it for granted that Wyndom was a very good line of hotels. I regret not reading other reviews. I’ve see a lot of 1 star reviews and the manager or someone replies saying thank you for bringing this to our attention which they really don’t care because they haven’t changed anything. I know I will never step foot in that hotel again!!

Don't stay here. Stay unprofessional, broken elevators, dirty rooms and non draining tub with stained furniture. I wouldn't stay again

The staff was excellent! Room clean. The condition of the property is mediocre. The breafast was disappointing. We had our breakfast at the adjoining Denny's which was very good.

This was just about the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed at! The "free breakfast" (see picture) consisted of nothing more than pancakes and sausages (of which only two were left by 8 am with no more coming) plus coffee and/or iced water. Oh, and syrup, ketchup or jam/jelly for the pancakes. Nothing else!
There was an unpleasant smell from the moment we entered the lobby which was worse in the hallways. We had to move out of our first room because the smoke alarm chirped every two minutes or so. The next room featured a high-pitched squeal that never stopped. We were then moved once more to a third room that was quiet--well, actually not: we could hear muffled music playing the entire night, and the folks in the adjoining room (not from our party) woke up early and we could hear all of their conversations.
The room itself was barebones; insufficient lighting (only two lamps), vinyl flooring, room-darkening drapes that did not completely cover the window, a postage-stamp bathroom with unfinished tub/shower enclosure (see picture), no fan, no hair blow-dryer, and no washcloths (we had to use hand towels instead).
We saw at least two very drunk patrons stagger in...so not very family-friendly. To their credit, the evening front desk were friendly and did try to address our room problems by moving us, but that couldn't make up for a facility that ought to be condemned or completely rebuilt.

I do not normally leave negative reviews, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I waited for twenty minutes to be able to check in, not because they were busy, but because there was no one to be found. If i hadn't had a reservation and paid for the stay, I would have left. she appeared to be very high when she did show up. the hallway floors were disgusting, had not been vacuumed in a long time. the room was dirty, so much dirt, dust and debris behind the TV, the mirror was so milky and dirty, she sheets felt like outdoor furniture material. I had hiked 10 miles that day and wanted to soak, there was no drain plug. I called and requested one, she stated she would bring one, 30 min. passed, still nothing. I went downstairs, she told me she could not find one. we laid down for bed, and the tv did not work. from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, it was a total negative experience.

Decor was nice but trash in floor of bedroom and bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while.

I booked my stay on the Internet and it said you have a pool and a bar. Well, the pool is closed and there is no bar. There is nothing in the vending machines. The soda machine was out of order. I thought maybe I could get a compensation back for my stay that the girl at the front desk says it’s not her responsibility to do that but he was very nice.

It was absolutely horrible. Staff walking around with no shoes, beds broke down, internet broke dow ln, bathrooms on main floor only had 1 sink and 2 toilets working. Hardly any aor conditioning. Lastly staff was very rude!!

Staff were incredibly helpful. Restaurant was open 24/7. Pool was nice. A lot of potential. Elevator wasn't working. Hot tub closed. Laundry not working. No vending. Carpet not attached to floor in hall. Lobby smelled.like dirty water. Bar closed. View from room was a rusty, dirty rooftop. Chair in the room was visibly soiled. Parts of bathroom were held up by bare wood.

Came with a tattoo convention group, staff was very friendly and helpful to me and my husband, however the rooms were not the cleanest, the water there is terrible

Hotel is older and rooms are in disrepair. You wouldn’t know from the outside. Our air conditioner unit was held up with 2 cups. The back of the door looked like they started to paint it and gave up. The elevator was scary with male private parts scratched onto the elevator wall. There was mold on the ceiling. There was a hair guard from hair clippers on the bedroom floor and trash under the bathroom cabinet. With all the above complaints the staff was wonderful. The owner of this hotel owes his employees a better place to work and a huge raise.

Bar/ restaurant would be nice

Checked in ok. Room ok, bathroom had dirt and dust all around the floorboard. Felt kind of dirty. The continental breakfast, it is open Six to nine am, we went down about 8:15, the food had all been taken away. Along with other guest, we tried to find someone to help us. The checkout desk was empty, three other people were waiting as well. I went around calling , no answer, we all just tossed our room keys on the counter and left. It is checkout time, someone should have been there. Four parties left with us. I will never check in there again.
