The only reason for two stars was the attitude and willingness to switch my room from the front desk. This place is an absolute dump. Ground floor window was unlocked and quite difficult to lock, water damage on the walls and the ceiling. Wallpaper was falling off. Hair on the bed sheets. Super cramped and the picture they show online apparently was from their remodel years ago. AC unit looked to be around 30 years old, missing panels, carpet was covered in cigarette burns, super noisy. I have never left a hotel room until today. This place is disgusting! I've stayed in better hotels in bad parts of Mexico that were better than this place. Go across the street for a few dollars more and enjoy not hearing every single car go by.
I booked a stay at Baymont by Wyndham, Fort Collins, CO on [insert date], but upon entering my assigned room, I immediately found multiple serious issues:
Bedsheets were stained and had hair and fingernail clippings
Mold in the air conditioning unit and under the window
The window came off its track when I tried to open it
Broken shower door handle
Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room and hallways
I reported these problems to the front desk manager, who told me she could do nothing and offered neither a refund nor a room change. Due to these unsafe and unsanitary conditions, I had to leave immediately and secure lodging elsewhere at my own expense.
The management and cleanliness standards at this property are unacceptable. I hope Wyndham corporate reviews this property to prevent other guests from facing similar hazards.
This park was very cleanly inside. The only issues I had with it was the breakfast was super small and one of the worst hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Also, the outside just had some weird people around it hanging on the outside of the hotel.

When we arrived the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and main lobby was okay but the elevator was broken.
The room we were assigned was frankly unsafe. There was broken picture frames, with loose glass, above the beds, holes in the walls and ceilings, exposed wires in the bathroom, and evidence of insects (legs, waste, sheds, ect) on the sink counter.
We were told to touch base with Expedia regarding a refund. Expedia tried for over a a week to get in contact with a manager and the Expedia rep that we worked with reported that the hotel eventually just stopped answering their calls.
We will not be returning to this property.

This property is on the way out. Elevator “hasn’t worked in quite some time.” Breakfast was a joke. Advertising weekly rates is a sure sign of trouble.
Dumpy. One of the top 5 worst hotels in Fort Collins...ive stayed at all of them. Worst free breakfast ever. Don't plan on it for food. Just sneak in the La Quinta across the street if youre hungry. Tv didnt work. No drink cups. Carpet in room was weird and kinda moist...wear slippers. Only good part was price. The mattress wasnt half bad.
It was alot better than I expected. Room was clean shower was hot with good water pressure. Breakfast needs alot of work. But over all it was great.

Staff was very nice
The staff tried to be accommodating. Staff was smoking in the entryway to the hotel. People are living at the property. A lot of yelling coming from rooms. Unpleasant odors including marijuana. Limited breakfast. Horrible neighborhood, someone bashed in a car in the parking lot with a screaming child involved. Rooms not super clean.
Horrible place. Not only was our room dirty, holes in the walls, electrical out lest did not work, lights in bathroom did not come on all the way, tv did not work for 3 days. At the time of my check in the person up front charged me for my stay that was already paid for in May, I was told by the "manager" Amanda at the time that I would be refunded the $472.00 for the stay and I di not sign the receipt for the second charge. The halls reeked of marijuana, my daughter had to witness people fighting in the lobby that live there over cigarettes and a food stamp card. Upon arrival at home I have had to reach out via phone and email multiple times to Amanda for my refund of the second charge in which I was finally told to just take it up with my CC company because the "owner" Khan Zalufar "does not do refunds". Wyndham needs to remove their name from this fraud, trash place.
This property is in horrible condition. Not only were there holes in the walls, plugs, lights in the the bathroom did not work. Tv did not work. I was charged for my stay in June when i booked in May, gave the front desk my card for incidentals in which he charged me for the stay AGAIN. After calling multiple times emailing them and Wyndham for my refund the last conversation I had with the "Manager " Amanda she said and I quote "the owner just does not give refunds" how is that possible when you charged me TWICE. This place is disgusting and fraudulent. You world be better sleeping in your car!
I was charged twice for my stay when I was told I wouldnt be. I had booked the wrong night and yhe manager fixed it and assured there was no price difference.
For a cheap room, it was relatively clean and we enjoyed our stay.
They copy your drivers license at check in—PERFECT recipe for ID theft! And literally no cover over light switches. Pretty sure that is against code.
Lingered smoke smell throughout building, despite signage to charge for smoking in 'non smoking facility'. Staff openly smoking outside entrance where signs posting 'no smoking area'. Empty kleenex box left at bathroom sink in the room, empty shampoo container also left, not a pleasant discovery while in shower.
Absolutely disgusting, filthy, drug infested, dingy, run down motel.
Should be condemned! DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
