Pros:

fantastic room, very confortable and light, near metro station and in a overall nice area

Great stay and a great location!
Pros:

The location was perfect, I appreciated the kitchenette setup and also used some of the common spaces to meet my coworker. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Great location, historical building, large room with full kitchen and comfortable bed.

Pros:

We really enjoyed Tracy at the front desk sharing the history of the hotel, her warm welcome. She directed us to our room and was always friendly. Also the hotel is centrally located especially to the person we were visiting.

Good location and close to the metro, shopping, and eateries. Nice room.

Cons:

No curtains, outsiders could see in around the blinds on gound level. Sheets were stained, towels were thin, and flat pillows were uncomfortable.

Good value and location, but not clean - and barking dogs allowed.

The location, pleasant staff.

Cons:

The access to the ground level room, the room was stuffy and there was makeup/blood smeared on the bathroom door. Someone right above us had a dog that barked the entire time, all day and night - and the staff was right outside of their room and nothing was ever done about the barking.

Driving north from Miami
Pros:

The Place Is historic and wonderful and the location is perfect to walk around and explore. The gym is nice and the common areas are stunning

Cons:

DuPont circle is a little noisy until late at night and full of traffic so, if the apartment is facing there, you may have some noise. It would be great if there was free coffee in the common areas for guests....a little touch that would make it special

Pros:

The area was great, right by DuPont Circle. Really close to the metro and there’s a farmers market right by it. Check in process was so easy, I had all the details sent to me before I even got to the hotel so I did not even need to speak to anyone to check in.

Cons:

I was given a room in the basement level which is ok for a 2 night stay but it is very dark. Whenever an adjacent room uses their dishwasher or washing machine, the whole room shook. Not very soundproof either. I wouldn’t stay here for longer than 2 nights.
