Pros:

Very clean room, nice breakfast and very kind owners. The outside garden is also lovely, it feels that everything is taken care of with a lot of love and attention.

Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, doch die freundliche, persönl. Atmosphäre gleicht das mehr als aus.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ruhig und relativ zentral. Das Stadtzentrum kann zu Fuß innerhalb von einer halben Stunde erreicht werden.

This hotel is a true hidden gem that the photos simply can't do justice. While the decor might look a bit dated in pictures, in reality, everything is incredibly well-maintained and of high quality. From the moment you arrive, you're met with a comfortable, cozy, and heartwarming atmosphere.

The owners' passion is evident in every detail, and their hospitality makes you feel right at home.

The location itself is a highlight. It's a pleasant, though not short, 20-minute walk from the station, with a choice of paths either through nature along the river or by the main road. This neighborhood retains a charming, traditional character, which is a welcome contrast to the anonymous, functionalist architecture found in other parts of Winterthur.

I wasn't planning on having breakfast, but I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy the quality of the spread – from the local cheeses and breads to the surprisingly good tea selection, nothing felt low-cost. For about the price of a single draft beer in Switzerland, it was also incredible value.

And to top it all off, there's a charming hotel cat! ❤️

Ein perfektes Hotel im Raum Winterthur, wenn man kleinere Hotels mit Atmosphäre schätzt!
Pros:

Das Haus ist nicht modern, aber es hat Atmosphäre. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß, sehr ruhig, hatte bequeme Betten und war sehr sauber. Das Fenster führte hinaus zum Garten. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und wir haben persönliche Gespräche geführt. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!
