Was decent enjoyed the pool game room kinda noisy

Nice place nice pool hot tub and arcade

Cons:

Room seems dated musty odor in hallway almost too big long walks to my room not enough signs and no free breakfast also no free coffee

Overall a decent stay, could use some updates, cleaning and better staff communication.
Pros:

This is the only hotel in Alexandria currently with a working pool and hot tub, which was the only reason we stayed here. The location was great being close to the bowling alley and so many stores and fast food places. The pillows and blankets were comfy, the attached restaurant had great food. My kids loved the rec area to play basketball and soccer.

Cons:

The staff seemed to not have great communication. Some told us breakfast and dinner was free for the kids and gave us the coupons, others were saying only breakfast was free for them. The hallways had a lot of dead bugs, thankfully not in our room. Some of the rooms seemed more updated than others- we had a total of 3 rooms in our party. The A/C dehumidifier was SO loud that we couldn't sleep the first night. Once we turned it to only cool it was fine but then the room was extremely damp. We were greatful for a working pool and hot tub but the area was very outdated and dirty. The paint in the hot tub was peeling off by the chunks then floating in the water.

Pros:

The swimming pool and giant hot tub and all the arcades and the volleyball court and basketball court is really cool.

Cons:

No towels at the swimming pool the basket for towels were empty. Had to walk back to room wet and freezing but we survived.

This Holiday Inn is becoming "run down." It needs refurbishing and updating.
Cons:

The hallway carpets and the room in general need updating. The feeling has become "shabby" over the last couple years.

Filled the need for a room for one night.
Pros:

I liked the location close to 94 and businesses.

Cons:

Building had musty stale cigarette smell. Carpet and other decor seemed very dated.
