Almost perfect
Pros:

We made a great choice with this hotel given its very convenient location and beautiful Park room with a view (of Mt. Pilatus). The hotel is very close to the train station, Migros, various fastfood chains and restaurants, and about a 10-15min walk to a laundromat. The 5th floor triple room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the balcony has a view of the park and Mt. Pilatus. Breakfast was good and satisfying, even if they serve the same dishes every day. Staff were generally helpful.

Cons:

The only issue we encountered is the housekeeping. On our 1st day, despite putting up the Eco sign on the door (throw trash but not change towels), they failed to do this and I even had to call the front desk (around 5pm), who asked if I put up the sign which I did. Meanwhile, on our 2nd day, I put up the Make Up room sign but they failed to do so by the time we arrived back in the hotel by 2-3pm. They did however make up the room with us inside.

Everything fine except A/C control.
Pros:

We stayed in room 70 on the 4th floor for six days. We had zero success trying to get the room temperature to a satisfactory temperature. The weather in Lugano during our stay was 30 C or above, every day.
The A/C unit was mounted above the clothes closets and controlled by a wall mounted unit. No matter what temperature or fan speed we set it to, we were never able to get the temperature to 25 C or cooler. This is not a comfortable temperature to try and sleep in.
The bed linen never looked clean and crisp.
Dinner was never a wow moment other than the mango gelato or the tiramisu.
No coffee maker in room.
Shower is spectacular.

Excellent location and clean, but the bed was too soft and noisy
Pros:

The location of this hotel is extremely convenient, and the room itself was very clean and tidy. However, I had a poor night's sleep because of the bed. The mattress was far too soft, and every time I turned over, the bed made a squeaking noise. Thankfully, I was only staying here for one night. It’s a decent hotel for a short stopover, but the bed definitely needs improvement.

The perfect experience in Lucerne!
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Continental Park. The location was fantastic for exploring the city and jumping on a boat, train, or bus to explore outside of Lucerne. The staff at the hotel was amazing at every turn and helped guide us to excursions - even booking tickets for our trip up Mount Pilatus. We also loved the hotel breakfast and fun with Alvin each morning. We'll definitely stay again when we make it back to Lucerne!

Die Unterkunft überzeugt durch ihre perfekte Lage, die es ermöglicht, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Attraktionen schnell und bequem zu erreichen. Zudem trägt das ausserordentlich nette und hilfsbereite Personal wesentlich dazu bei, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Freundlichkeit und Professionalität stehen hier klar im Vordergrund, was den Aufenthalt rundum angenehm macht.

Cons:

Die Wände wirkten dünn, sodass die Geräusche aus den angrenzenden Zimmern und dem Flur deutlich wahrnehmbar waren.

Perfect location, minutes from the train station, boats and all of the tour attractions.
Pros:

Front office staff were excellent in check in. Everyone we spoke to was professional and made us feel welcome. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was perfectly clean.

Cons:

Would have liked larger cups in the room for tea, however, when we asked the staff got us some from the restaurant.
Television channels were not good. the English channels were all set to news channels with no other entertainment available. TV programs were all in German or Italian.
