It is a good place to stay.
Pros:

The address of the hotel is very convenient for fair goers. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was very pleasant and supportive.
The room was very comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Unfortunately I fail to understand why the colors of the walls and furniture was dark brown instead of more warm homey colors. I missed the fact that there are no reading lamps and it was therefore hard to read in bed.

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück und ruhige, zentrale Lage

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, um guten Schlaf zu finden leider nicht das richtige. Dazu sind die Zimmer auch sehr alt und nicht die saubersten.

The hotel was extremely overpriced, particularly during the Frankfurt Book Fair, when rates were increased significantly. The decor was disappointing, and there was no bar or restaurant open in the evening. Overall, it was very poor value for money and certainly not worth the price charged.

Weekend in Frankfurt
Pros:

The location with off street parking (extra cost) suited us. We found the hotel good value on the weekend we stayed, but this may not always be the case as it is within walking distance of the Messe. It’s not too far from restaurants and bars (many closed on 3rd October weekend), but there are 2 underground stations within walking distance to access other areas. We didn’t have breakfast there so cannot comment on that.

Cons:

Some rooms are old fashioned and a bit scruffy, but that’s didn’t bother us. To be honest the latter is most likely down to how guests treat the rooms.

Pros:

Excellent location, walking distance to train station and buses. Quiet place for weekends. The breakfast is very good! The staff friendly.

Cons:

Old hotel, some facilities need renovation. Our room didn't have any lamps, for example. Also most TV channels didn't work (not super relevant, but just FYI).
