Older style, but not historic.
Its a cosy place with narrow corridors and tight spaces
The steps on the entrace for a person coming with heavy luggage and traveld a lot.
The room and breakfast were lovely. It is a nice place in the heart of Edinburgh. It is within steps of an airport tram stop.

الغرفه لا يوجد بها عازل
اصوات دورات المياه للغرف المجاوره تسمع بوضوح ومزعجه
اصوات الغرفه اللي كانت فوق مباشرا نسمع اصوات خطواتهم وتحريك الاغراض
تم وضع لنا رساله من قبل موظفه النظافه كنوع من التهديد وغرامه تصل الى 150 باوند لقولها بانني ادخن وفي حال التكرار سيتم الالغاء حجزكم
وبعد توجهي الى الاستقبال لم يكن سبب التدخين بل استخدام الفحم والبخور وتفهمو ذالك
I was traveling with a friend and we had separate rooms and each had very positive experiences. Quiet room with good mattress and linens, immaculately clean-- as was the bathroom, which was spacious and modern. There was no room noise from outside and we slept well. We loved the location as we hiked Arthurs Seat, Calton Hill, and walked back and forth into Old Town. Very quick and easy to walk from Waverly station where the airport bus dropped us off. It was nearby to our Ember bus stop for e4 trip. It was also a quick walk from where Hairy Coo bus tours pick up on Regent road. We visited the nearby pub twice and had great meals, we also had breakfast at hotel every day. Breakfast room was a lovely setting and had many choices at a reasonable price. The staff was exceptional in every way. They helped us store our bags and went above and beyond each time we interacted with them. Our stay was lovely in every way.
Probably the best location for visiting the theatre & the St James centre and also the portrait gallery.
