Great location, staff were very friendly and welcoming
Rooms were small but consistent with a city centre hotel
It was very quirky loved the decor
Close to shop and tram
Staffs are very helpful
The decor is absolutely stunning and the room was well equipped.
Quite limited dinner options.
Loved the vibe, very friendly staff, food was lovely.
Unfortunately our room was very small, not much space either side of bed and small space at bottom of bed.
Lovely central location
Friendly staff
I left behind a bracelet by mistake & the honest housekeeping staff handed it in & Eilidh emailed me very promptly regarding this & sent a link via Royal Mail that I could arrange to have it collected. This was amazing & so convenient as I live 4 hours away from Edinburgh. I have left things before in other hotels & contacted them & not got them back. So this experience from the staff was first class. I will recommend staying here to friends & family. Excellent.
Nothing
Location and decor. Room size was excellent. Staff were fab as well.
Nothing
We had a great experience in Hotel Indigo. Great location, clean room, comfortable bed, kind and helpfull personnel and amazing breakfast!
Thank you!
Friendly staff, great room
Colazione perfetta ,piccolo problema ,la nostra stanza all ultimo piano era mansardata ,quindi dovevamo stare attenti a non sbattere la testa contro il muro ,quelle agli altri piani dei nostri amici erano perfette
Tutto ok
staff were very helpful, bed was very comfortable
The Smart TV was not connected to the wifi, so didn't actually work as one
Room was superb, staff were super friendly and breakfast was great.
Liked the location of the hotel. Great if you're going to the Playhouse theatre or the new St. James's shopping centre. Also liked the modern decor.
Room was smaller than expected. Scuff marks on walls and scratches on floor. The shower knob fell off. This was reported to reception when we left.
Not worth the price. Terrible breakfast, rude staff at breakfast, room not cleaned properly if cleaned at all, sheets not changed.
Breakfasts were great. Ample buffet plus a variety of cooked options. The hotel location is great, with an Edinburgh Tram stop right outside. This made transportation to and from the airport very easy. Walking distance from all of the sights, many restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and also many with a 15 minute walk. This particular Hotel Indigo location is also much quieter (less automobile traffic and foot traffic) than the sister location on Prince's Street.
The room could use some sprucing up. A few electrical items were not working- heated towel bar, lighted mirror, and some electrical outlets. The fridge was also not cold enough to safely store food. The staff did try to fix these issues, but only the lighted mirror was able to be fixed. We weren't overly bothered by these things, but thought the staff should know.
